Dear Parents

Every term, a fire drill exercise will be conducted at Kindy.

The objective of this exercise is to prepare our children for emergency evacuation.

Prior to the exerise, the children are briefed

about the do and don’ts once the fire alarm is activated

and the location of the fire extinguishers.

The children following the Teachers to the nearest exit.

All were calm and walked briskly to the Assembly Point.

Interesting observation – some looked for the numbers sequentially, pasting each accordingly;

some just took any number and looked for it’s match and then pasted !

Oliver had a box containing jigsaw puzzle pieces … Immediately some of his friends remembered that it was a

birthday gift from one of our Peace friends some time back.

Lorraine told us that the torchlight belongs to her brother. Everyone knew that we use in a dark place or at

night.

Leo was able to dismantle and assemble his lego vehicle very quick. We named the colours of the various pieces

and counted the number of pieces used to make the vehicle.

previously brought) clothes were blue

Mathias brought his monopoly board and showed the different items used in the game.

Joy opened up her Hello Kitty food truck that was selling French fries – an all-time favourite!

Isabel switched on the light in her lantern and explained the used of the stick attached to the lantern and its

grip.

The children had a choice of using either the overarm or underarm throw.

A little dance to the nursery rhyme with an envelope each, in their hands!

The next part was a circle game!

Where one will walk around the circle and drop the envelope behind another.

He/she will then pick it up and make a chase before the one who dropped the envelope, takes a seat.
