The series includes 3 base units in different sizes to hold up to 8, 16 or 32 modular plug-in cards.

The modular design makes Kindermann MultiMatrix the ideal platform for customized and cost-effective professional AV solutions.

Each base unit supports flexible I/O configurations, in which 75% of all slots can be populated with either an input or output card, and output cards for the remaining slots.

• The MultiMatrix 8N supports flexible video I/O configurations with max. 6 video inputs or min. 2 outputs and is the right choice for smaller AV projects.

• MultiMatrix 16N can hold up to 12 video inputs or min. 4 outputs for mid-sized projects, or if later expandability is required.

• The MultiMatrix 32N finally supports flexible video I/O configurations with max. 24 video inputs or min. 8 outputs to handle even large projects.

MultiMatrix 8N, 16N and 32N can be configured with optional I/O modules for HDMI(DVI), HDMI 2.0, HDBT and VGA video formats. An optional HDMI scaler output card allows seamless switching.

In conjunction with the HDMI 2.0 cards highest resolutions are supported up to and including 4K UHD @ 60 Hz (4:4:4), due to the 20 Gbps back-plane of the base units.

With its professional audio break-away function, MultiMatrix offers the ability to select an audio signal from the input side and route it independently from the video to any output. All inputs and output cards support hot-plugging to allow a card replacement in live operation in the case of service.

For maximum reliability, the MultiMatrix 8N and 16N can be retrofitted with a second (redundant) power supply.

MultiMatrix 32N ships with the redundant power supply already built-in as standard.
