Language Arts Develop knowledge of letters and their sounds
Use letter sound correspondence to read and write
Blending sounds to read words

Read sight words independently and in text.
Read grade-level books.
Participate in reading activities with fiction and non-fiction books
Write a complete sentence using capitalization and punctuation.
