KINDERGARTEN – APRIL 2020
April 1, 2020
Hello Kindergarten Families,
We hope that your family is staying healthy and adjusting to your schedule at home. It is important to keep consistency for your child during these challenging times. The district Kindergarten teachers are providing additional schoolwork and resources to help support you at home for the month of April.
During an extended break from school, skills commonly regress. This month to help minimize regression, we are providing work that will review skills that were taught during our first marking period.
We have included a calendar for the month of suggested activities that encompasses all subject areas and will help to minimize this regression. Also included is a work packet and additional website resources to help you in this effort. We encourage students to work to the best of their ability each day using any resources provided. Supplemental materials are included if your child needs additional support. How you plan your child's day can be flexible to meet the needs of your family. This work will not be collected or graded but serves as support for your child during this extended break.
We hope you find this work helpful,
The District Kindergarten Team
