Kindness Krew Invitation Our very first meeting will be held at the Activity Center on Tuesday, August 21 st from 6:30-7:30. There are already many people participating in our group, but we would like to welcome all community members. The Kindness Krew's goal is to form a group that consists of many people from the community who will work together to brainstorm, research, and execute ways to be more kind to each other. We have many ideas of what this may look like, and the possibilities are endless. We have started our first project creating kindness sayings to be posted around the community. Watch for more information or come to the meeting to find out how you can be more involved. We are now registering children 7 and older for our Before and After School Program. Let’s make this year another great one! Hours of Operation AM = 5:30 – 8:45 (M-F) and PM = 2:45 – 5:30 (M,T,R,F) 1:45 – 5:30 (W) Daily rates: Either before OR after school - $7.00, Before AND after - $12.00, Fall registration fee - $30 per child Included in these prices are: a simple breakfast each morning, a snack in the afternoon and busing to and from the Center for Northview students. The Center will be open extended hours when the school schedule varies (for additional cost.) There will be many activities offered to the children during the morning and afternoon. Some of these activities include: arts and crafts, computer lab, physical activities in the gym, study time/homework help, and much more. You may download all the necessary forms from our website or stop by and check us out! Summer Sponsorships Please help us give a Special Thanks to our summer sponsors! Our children's summer has been extra special because of the help and sponsorships from many local businesses. Their generosity has helped enrich our programming by purchasing many new items including tables, outdoor games and gym accessories. You may have noticed banners featuring the sponsors on our fence. Do you love Halloween? Here is a way to become involved in a local Non-Profit community event. We have decided to switch it up a bit this year. Currently we are working on plans for a Trunk-or-Treat event. Anyone interested can decorate the trunk of their vehicle, park
here and have trick or treaters come to them. Watch for more details. If you or anyone you know may be
interested in helping please contact us (4H, girl scouts, boy scouts, student counsel, individuals, businesses...) Please contact Tiffani if you are interested in helping.
We are looking for people who are crafty or love sports. Instructors are needed that might be
looking at volunteering their talents, as well as, any ideas for future classes! Please fill out our
online survey on our website.
Gym rentals - The Gym is available for rent. This is great for birthday parties, graduation parties, reunions, sports practice, and much more. You can rent it for $35 an hour, as well as, a 5-hour rental for $100 or a full day for $135. You may also add a bouncy house for an additional $100 - $200 depending on the unit.
