WHEN YOU USE THIS TYPES OF SENTENCES?

¿CUANDO USAS ESTE TIPO DE ORACIONES?

-La mayoría de las oraciones que usamos son para hacer afirmaciones, incluso podríamos escribir un texto completo usando solo este tipo,

Pero también,

-podemos usar oraciones para dar órdenes,

-para hacer preguntas y

-para expresar emociones fuertes.

-Most of the sentences that we use are to make an afirmation, even we could write a entire text using only this type,

But also,

-we can use sentences to give orders,

-to make questions and

-to act out strong emotions.

THE 4 PRINCIPAL TYPES:

◊ Declarative sentence (Oración declarativa).

◊ Imperative sentence (Oración imperativa).

◊ Interrogative sentence (Oración interrogativa).

◊ Exclamatory sentence (Oración Exclamatoria).

DECLARATIVE SENTENCE.ORACIÓN DECLARATIVA.

An afirmation,

a statement of fact,

wish, intent, Or feeling

Is used to make:

Se usan para hacer: Una afirmación. Declaración de hecho.

Deseo. Intención. O sentimiento.

Examples of declaratives sentences:

Ejemplos de oraciones declarativas:

• The sheriff went to face the crime.

(El alguacil fue a enfrentar el crimen). He wants to

buy the red car.

(El quiere comprar el carro

rojo).

IMPERATIVE SENTENCEORACIÓN IMPERATIVA.

Warnings

Direction

Suggestions

Advice

Can also be used to ask for

pueden usar para

Es usado para expresar fuertes sentimientos, va seguido de un signo de

exclamación.
