History of Alexander Wang. Alexander Wang was born in May 17, 1976 in San Francisco,California. His family is American-Chinese. At age 18 he moved to New York to study at the Parsons design school. At this time he took an intership at Teen Vogue and he also had an intership at Marc Jacobs and Derek Lam. At his sophomore year (2005) he launched a line of cashmere sweaters and he was already designing for his own label, but that were mostly predominately knits. In 2007 he launched his first women collection, sold in over more then 200 boutiques and retail stores. In 2008 he was nominated for Council of Fashion Designers of America in Women's Wear and won a $200,000 prize as the CDFA/Vogue (magazine) Fashion Fund Award winner. After that he made a full collection of accessories. The fall collection in 2008 he only used black as the main color but because men said it was to black he launched for Spring 2009 a color collection such as orange, dusty purple, aqua and hot pink. In Fall 2007 Alexander Wang main color was again black, in his show he showed his great tailoring skills. Currently he’s working on a men collection that will be part from his T by Alexander Wang collection. Alexander Wang lives in New york where he has a lot of inspiration by music, life, reality and culture.

Last year Alexander won the price for CFDA, Swarovski women’s wear designer of the year. His style is laid back, edgy downtown street also called as his signature "model-off-duty" style.

Erin Wasson was born in Texas, America on January 20th of 1982. Erin is happy she’s from Texas as Erin told Teen Vogue, "You can't take the Texas out of the girl. ... I wouldn't have gotten this far in the fashion world if I didn't have a little bit of that Southern hospitality in me. She started already at a young age with modeling. She’s been on covers suchs as French, German, Spanish, Australian vogue, Flair, Numero, Allure, Esquire and Elle. She has also been walking several international fashionshows such as Armani, Balenciaga, Cavalli, Gucci, and Karl Lagerfeld. She also walked the Victoria’s Secret fashion show in 2007. Erin is not only working in front of the camera but also behind the camera, such as styling. For 2 seasons she helped as a stylist for Alexander Wang. Erin Wasson was a muse for him. In Spring of 2008 Erin started a collaboration with surf and skate lifestyle brand RVCA called Erin Wasson x RVCA.

Customers of Alexander Wang. Customers of Alexander are people in the age of 18 till 25 years. A lot of rich/famous teenagers such as Rihanna, Khloe Kardastian, Olsen twins, Diane Kruger and Lauren Conrad are wearing Alexander Wang.

Target: Young women who work for the fashion business or study fashion, actresses. They have power because they know what they want. Women from all over the world but mostly Europe or Usa. They like to buy expensive clothes with an label, that is fashionable and new. They come from a high/middle income. Age: 18 till 25 years. Hobbies: fashion, shopping, party. Living: still living home or in shared flat. Lifestyle: loves to party, is dating or has a boyfriend, no kids.

Shopping driver: comfortable, classy, want to wear it in every occasion but prefer to wear it only a few times. Current Purchasing Situation: they order their clothes on the internet and mostly from Chanel, Balmain, Dior etc. But also they have some pieces of H&M, American Apparel, Topshop. Product Usage: they probably have a walk in closet, with a few designer pieces. Purchase Conditions: they go shopping for a party or a special occasion. They always pay with credit-card.

These are my favourite looks because they show power and a few of these looks I found on fashion blogs. For example the second look, after Alexander Wang created this look, everybody was wearing an oversized blazer. Also the leather jackets without sleeves are now hanging in shops such as H&M. The harem pants on the first picture is really fashionable now and everybody wears it. I love the hats they are wearing, it gives me a cosy feeling and I think Alexander also wanted to show this, The ripped tights are something that is becoming more and more fashionable nowadays because you can make something classic.

 I think that this is his best collection ever. As he said "They wanted color, they got color!’’I could buy almost every piece of the collection and the colours makes me so happy. Like the pink blazer and the black see-throw dress are my favourite pieces of the collection. The black see-throw dress is so populair that Topshop copied it and has almost the same idea in the shops. It’s the same with the sweater, a lot of blogger have been creating their own Alexander Wang sweater, by cutting holes in sweaters and putting new fabrics behind it.

   Like almost every show of Alexander Wang it’s black again. I don’t know why but I keep loving it. The pieces are all different and have a different kind of silhouhettes. My favourit piece of this collection if the second dress, the third leather jacket and the sequin dress. These 3 pieces I’ve seen a lot in fashion magazines and the sequins are now totally hot. Also the biker shoes finish everything. The hats are so nice and different, like it said in the other reviews, Alexander Wang keeps changing, even when it’s always looks the same it’s different. You just know when it’s from Alexander Wang.

Im so in love with these shoes, they are incredible. I love it that Alexander Wang changed his colours again, he keeps on getting black in his collections. The braids in the hair are amazing, it’s like again something totally new that will be really fashionable. The socks till the knees are gonna be so hot again. It’s like Alexander Wang invents all the time new things. They were already like for seasons but if Alexander Wang puts it on his collection, everybody wants to have it.

Models. I chose these 12 models as my favourite ones at the moment. Even Erin Wasson is not doing a lot of modelling anymore I think it would be fun for her to open the show. She is like the muse and face of Alexander Wang. The second would be Abbey Lee, I love her face, she looks so innocent but so mysteries. To end the show it would be Lara Stone, even when she’s doesn’t really fit between these models I think it’s a good start for a new beginning of models. Not size 0 but a at least a size. In total it’s gonna be 30 models but these 12 are my favourites. Some of these models have been walking several times for Alexander Wang. The makeup is gonna be done by Dick Page and hairstylist Eugene Souleiman.

Invitation. The invitation is a dogcollar with a dogtag. The dogtag says the name, date, time, place and the order where guest has to sit. This invitation is also right away a gift.

Music. I chose 2 different kind of music. When the fashionshow starts you will hear dogs barking after that rain will starts to fall, at the moment the dance music starts. The music is gonna be around 6 minutes because the catwalk has around 30 models.

The fashion show. The fashionshow of Alexander Wang is gonna be located at an old parking garage in Brooklyn, New York. As you enter the parking garage there are almost 200 seats. At the left and the right sight of the press the fashion bloggers can sit. Then the celebrities and finally in the beginning the magazine and editors such as Carine Roitfeld and Anna Wintour. The seating will say the name of the editor,celebrity or blogger.

The fashionshow needs to give you a feeling that’s it’s winter, when the show start you will see that a big projector projects on the catwalk. When the models start to walk you will see first a Thunderstorm then rain, snow, wind and then you come out on the beach with gulls.

The music will be done by an dj of the art school in New York. By this it’s cheap, promotion for the art school and the beginning dj will learn a lot. The fashionshow is gonna be around 9pm because the people who are invited to the after party can go straight partying.

After party Alexander Wang. Katie Grand hosted the last after party from Alexander Wang (Spring 2010) together with love magazine, this season (Winter 2010) Katie Grand with hosting the party again but this season together with Metal Magazine. Photos are gonna be taken by the cobra snake and ICANTEACHYOUHOWTODOIT. The guest that also are invited to the afterparty received a dogtag necklace with the adres, time and dresscode. The people im gonna invite are bloggers such as katelovesme, amlul,carolinesmode, mode-damour. Celebrities such as Agness Deyn, Kanye West, Madonna,Erin Wasson, Kirsten Dunst, Mischa Barton, Amanda Lepore. And editors such as Carine Roitfeld and Anna Wintour. This is only the list of a few people for the after party. The music is gonna be done by the art school. It’s good for the promotion of the school and it’s cheaper.

Place. The place for the after party is gonna be a tranny place called Lucky Cheng’s. It’s located 24 First Ave, New York, NY 100. They have karaoke and they serve asian food. It’s a amazing place where even the waitresses start to dance on the tables.
