Thank you for your interest in Main Street Marketplace, taking place in downtown Torrington, CT on Thursday evenings from 5 pm -9 pm starting July 21st and running through August 18th 2016.

Each night, MSMP draws between 2,500 and 3,000 attendees. Families, singles, people of all agesconverge and energize downtown Torrington creating an electric atmosphere, set against the quarter mile backdrop of a beautiful city draped in “turn of the century” architecture.

What’s New for 2016?TThe challenge in producing an outdoor event like MSMP... is raising the bar. We‘re confident in saying that the bar will be lifted!

The biggest change you will notice is the incorporation of the 70’ x 140’ space opposite City Hall into each weeks activities. The “MSMP Arena” as we will call it, will feature on the east end anightly band, starting at 7 pm. Running down the center of the “MSMP Arena” will be seating for 80 diners to relax and enjoy their evening while table-side magicians entertain them.

The “MSMP Arena” will also play host to our weekly themes. Opening night we’re honoring vveterans. In week #2 we’ll present Christmas in July. In week #3 we’ll host community night, giving all local businesses an opportunity to participate by relaxing our exhibitor requirements. In week #4 we’ll spotlight health living and in week #5 we’ll host our 1st annual coffee, tea & chocolate festival while our local manufacturers showcase the diverse industrial side of Torrington.

The “Roaming Railroad” will be running each week for kids and adults. This colorfully painted motorized train operates without tracks on rubber wheels and will take riders on a 1/3 mile trip around MSMP.

TThese are just a few of the highlights, as we are just getting started, but I am certain that we willnot only meet, but exceed your expectations.
