Wowwwooooo,Ohhhhhhhhh,Ahhhhhhhhhhhh…

Everyone has to see the Great Wall. I have wanted to do that for ever. The Kung-fu was AMAZING! The Forbidden City was probably the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I loved biking on the Xi’an City wall, and the Chinese soldiers were awesome.

Eliana Sanchez, Choir member

It was a wonderful experience, one that I shall never forget! Keep it up!!

]Bradley Orton, Chaperone

It was really an incredible experience. Everyday we woke up we knew there was going to be a new and great adventure waiting for us. My friends are going to be so jealous. This was defiantly a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Hailey Barney, Choir member

(This trip was a) great experience! The tour guides were so knowledgeable about the sites we visited, the Chinese history, and its culture.

Shirley Guy, Chaperone

Wow, I didn’t know ……

Just the fact that I went across the sea into a foreign land

would impress my friends. A lot of them haven’t been out

of their own home state. But I think they will be

amazed at the stories I will tell them about China.

Emilee Cooke, Choir member

Shaolin Monasteries was my favorite. Seeing the Kung Fu warriors and going on stage to learn some Kung Fu was great. It was such a thrill!

Nicholas Smith, Choir member

I learned that China has so much great and exciting history that I didn’t know about before.

Nicholas Smith, Choir member

I learned so much! History, culture, language, dynasties, better understand Chinese art

and the meaning behind the symbols.

Janette, Music Director

Today I went back to school….

I loved interacting with the beautiful Chinese children at the schools; I discovered in this trip that the human spirit is the same around the globe.

Cyndi Marcheschi, Chaperone

I enjoyed going to the middle school, where we performed

and mingled with the children. It was my favorite experience

of the trip. I love getting to know the Chinese people!!

Kelsey Rigby, Choir member(Zheng Zhou number 47 Middle School)

I loved to exchange at the schools, meeting our Chinese friends, and watching and performing for them.

Janette, Music Director

My most memorable experience was participating in the cultural exchange. I loved meeting the Chinese students and speaking with them!
