In fact, thisdirect partnership without an intermedi-ary between Wimco and WimcoSBH,

services for clients and owners will besimplified,” added Warburton, viaemail last week. Concerning the rela-tionship with Sibarth, Walburtonexplained: “Wimco is pleased to havecollaborated with Sibarth for the past27 years. Together these two companiescontributed to the development of thevilla rental and tourism industry inSaint Barthélemy. At the beginning ofthis year, Sibarth expressed its desire tomodify the terms of our long-term part-nership. Unfortunately we found thenew conditions and business outlook tobe unacceptable. That’s the reason wehave adopted a new strategy and decid-ed to launch WimcoSBH, makingWimco independent from here on in.We wish Sibarth all the best for thefuture continuation of its activities,”concludes the president of Wimco, indi-cating his desire to personally invest inthe success of WimcoSBH during thisinaugural season.

McGinn,David Steward, and a few other friendswill meet on Thursday, November 25 at9am in Grand Fond, as they have donefor the past few years, dedicating part oftheir vacation to a beach-cleaning expe-dition. “We usually park in the little lotnear the bend and get started rightaway,” says McGinn. “Anyone whoshows up should just go the beach anlook for the crazy people with bags!” The“beach-combers” walk towards MorneRouge and Saline. “This is a totallycasual, relaxed event—more of a walk onthe beach,” says McGinn, who hopessome island residents will join in as well.“Mostly we concentrate on plastic items, bottles and caps, bags, ropes, etc,” hesays, noting that anyone is welcome andshould bring water, sunscreen, and, ideally, their own bag to put things in.Rendezvous for the annual Thanksgivingcleanup!
