    Six Model Clubs a week

Our region has a goal of six Model Clubs a week.

Last week we received two new commitments. Con-

    gratulations to La-Miss-W.Tenn and Kentuck-

Tennesses districts for confirming the Kiwanis Club

of Laurel and the Kiwanis Club of Alcoa as the re-gions newest Model Clubs.

Our region is collectively over 100 Model and 100K Clubs. Congratulations!

Lets continue to strive for six Model Clubs a week.

The big question iswho are you asking to be a Model Club this week?

The World Health Organization confirms thatIraq is tetanus free!

Kiwanians, the work we do every day makes a difference. This week, Iraq

was announced as having eliminated tetanus. It is important to note that

when The Eliminate Project was started 59 countries were afflicted with

tetanus, now that number is 29. We are more than half way to total tetanus

    elimination.

Read about this announcement here: http://sites.kiwanis.org/kiwanis/en/theeliminateproject/blogs/13-05-09/Iraq_eliminates_maternal_and_neonatal_tetanus.aspx.
