Khuthele Engineering and Safety Supplies (Pty) Ltd (KESS) was established in 2013 with

more than 20 years’ experience in the Material Handling Industry, construction, fabrication

and on-site services. We provide turnkey solutions with high flexibility, superior levels of

services, leading edge technology and excellent value for money to engineering and related

industries while ensuring a safe and healthy environment.

Our Machine Shop specializes in precision engineering and our primary areas of activity

consists of CNC milling and turning, conventional milling, turning, grinding, drilling,

fabrication, sand blasting and painting. Products that we manufacture for the mining

industry includes bogie structure and bogie wheel sets, scraper chains, buckets, pump

shafts, transmission base plates, Stacker Reclaimer spare parts, chutes manufacturing and

many other components, either to approved drawings or to sample.

service delivery in the industry. In the awakening of a new social, political and economic era

in South Africa the need for quality and customer satisfaction has inspired the inventors of

Khuthele Engineering and Safety Supplies (Pty) Ltd (KESS) to establish an organization that

will focus on business to business service delivery as seldom seen before.

Our company, Khuthele Engineering and Safety Supplies (Pty) Ltd (KESS), was awarded the

agencies for KOCH/MVT Solutions and KETTENWULF for the South African market. KESS

expresses our most fundamental belief that the best business relationships result from

strong partnerships. As the cost of doing business escalates, companies are looking to

leverage their resources in order to achieve the timeliest, flexible and cost efficient
