Bakul Tambat Institute of Nursing Education College Nursing College was started in the year 2000. It started with RGNM programme with 20 students. Now, it runs RGNM, RANM, B.B.Sc (N), P.B.B.Sc (N), M.Sc (N) and Ph.D (N) for the benefit of 600 girl students.

Our concern was there were a few good students from low socio-economic background who applied for the Nursing course, and they couldn’t apply for bank loans due to lack of guarantors. They were in a dire need of financial assistance to pursue their education. When we approached “The Khushboo Charitable Trust”, Mrs. Ritu Nathani, the Co-founder of Cybage, assured us of her support and she personally visited the college and interacted with the students. She offered to sponsor 15 eligible girl students every year till completion of their studies.

The unstinted support extended by Cybage and Khushboo Charitable Trust will help the financially backward but deserving girl students to pursue their studies and become independent nursing professionals.

The Trust’s support is in tune with its motto of “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish, and you feed him for life”.

As part of its continued efforts to steer teenagers towards higher education and curb college dropouts, Cybage Khushboo is offering scholarship to at least 15 students from three educational institutes—MKSSS’s Smt. Bakul Tambat Institute of Nursing Education, Cummins College of Engineering for Women, and Pune Vidyarthi Griha.

Cybage Khushboo is already associated with Manghanmal Udharam College of Commerce (MUCC), Pimpri, Pune. As part of this association, Cybage Khushboo sponsors the education of 15 students annually for the entire duration of the BBA and BCA courses offered by MUCC.

Cybage Khushboo is looking forward to joining hands with more educational institutes to maximize its reach to deserving students.

Dr. Mrs. Vijayalakshmi NambiarPrincipal Manghanmal Udharam College of Commerce, Pimpri, Pune

It is gladdening that many deserving BBA and BCA students from economically backward

category studying in Manghanmal Udharam College of Commerce, Pimpri, Pune are recipients of Khushboo Charitable Trust Scholarships for the past few years.

These students and their parents consider it a blessing and a well-timed encouragement.

We congratulate and thank Cybage and Mr. Arun Nathani and Mrs. Ritu Nathani for making CSR a potent force in shaping the lives of many students and families. They have infused self-belief among the students through scholarships.

Our College under the management of Jai Hind Sindhu Education Trust headed by President Mrs. Nalini Gera and supported by Secretary Mrs. Aneeshya Aurora is happy to receive continued encouragement from Cybage.

Sagar Kaniche Computer Engineering Student IIT,

Hyderabad

The rising fees and educational expenses snatch away the little chance that someone like me has to compete with others. The next option is to take a loan, which doesn’t come easily for someone who cannot furnish a financial guarantee. My aim was to seek admission into IIT. I topped MH-CET examination and also obtained a good rank in IIT-JEE. But, that was not enough. IITs charge high fees which is difficult for a middle-class family to pay up. I applied for scholarship at Khushboo and was pleasantly surprised to know that I was selected for the programme. My complete tuition fees is paid by Khushboo. Currently, I am studying at IIT Hyderabad and scored a CGPA of 9.6/10.

Nutan SaliMechanical Engineering student,Cummins College of Engineering

After completing my class XII from Fergusson College, Pune, I wanted to pursue engineering. But, I knew the financial stress pursuing the course would cause to my parents.

Empathizing with my situation, Khushboo extended me the much required help. I got to know of Khushboo from a newspaper; I approached them; and, today, because of Khushboo, I am able to pursue my dream of becoming a Mechanical Engineer. Khushboo has not only helped me financially but also given me the confidence of dreaming big despite all odds! I wish Khushboo touches lives more like me and fills their life with fragrance!

Medical College

The Cybage Khushboo has played a very important role in my life. After I completed my class 12 and successfully cleared the entrance examination, I got admission into a medical college. But, the college fees was beyond what I could afford. So, I lost all my hopes and gave up on my dream of becoming a doctor and so did my parents. At this point, Khushboo helped me by offering a scholarship of Rs 1, 50,000. I will always be thankful to the trust as without them I would not have been able to pursue my dream.

After attaining 91% in class X and 83.33% in class XII, I wanted to study further. My father is an auto driver. It was clear that he could not afford

the fees that a professional course demands. I would like to thank Cybage Khushboo for believing in me. They selected me for their scholarship program and supported me. I have now completed first year of my engineering.

After completing my diploma from Sinhgad College with 62.14%, I wanted to enroll for an engineering course. But, financial constraints stood in my way. While I was in dilemma about what I could do next, I heard that Cybage is helping the needy and promising students. I applied for the scholarship. After an interview and a home visit paid by Khushboo personnel, I was awarded the scholarship. Cybage is indeed an angel for me and many poor and deserving students like me. Now, I am confident that I too will have a bright future.

Pranjali BagadBachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery student, Dhondumama Sathe Homoeopathic College

I am writing expressing my sincere gratitude to Cybage for making it possible for me to continue my education. I was thrilled to learn about

my selection for the Cybage Khushboo scholarship program. Cybage Khushboo is the only trust I came across that provides scholarships to financially poor students to pursue their dreams without laying any conditions. They believe in the power of education. The financial assistance provided by them was a great help to me. Thank you for your generosity and support!

Career guidance programme Session by Vijay Nawle, Career Guidance Expert

Underprivileged students don’t have access to expert career guidance, leading to uninformed decisions about life and career and wastage of talent. The career guidance workshop conducted by Mr Vijay Nawle targeted students completing SSC and HSC. More than 100 students across Pune participated. An hour-long session included stories of various eminent personalities, options after board exams, information about various courses, colleges offering these courses, and a question-answer round. Mr Nawle asked students to analyze what they were doing rather than telling them what they should do. He motivated them to excel in their careers.

Taking that big leap!Session by Elston Pimenta, Head-HR Cybage

Besides being a benefactor to underprivileged students, Cybage Khushboo has also taken up the responsibility of grooming them for a good professional future. Khusboo bolstered its scholarship program for the year 2013-2014 with a session on interview skills. Students were given tips on pre-interview preparation and tackling behavioural interviews. A total of 134 students pursuing engineering, medicine, BBA, BCA, and other courses actively participated in the session. Elston stressed on the importance of identifying one’s skills and applying them to whichever profession one chooses.

Cracking the grammar codeSession by Prajakta Albuquerque, <Corp. Trainer-Cybage>

The fear of grammar was laid to rest by Prajakta in two sessions conducted on consecutive Sundays. Her carefully-planned group activities and ‘homework’ for the ‘students’ infused life into what is perceived as a dry subject. The second session dealt with the usage of prepositions and their idiomatic richness in English. Towards the end of the session, Prajakta conducted a role-play between students during which they were asked to insterperse their conversations with prepositional phrases and phrasal verbs. The students enjoyed the session as it provided great clarity on grammar concepts.

Cybage presented a Braille version of the Class X English Digest to the Jagriti School for Blind Girls at Markal Road, Alandi, on 14th December, 2013. Mrs. Ritu Nathani unveiled the book. Sixteen CybageAsha volunteers worked hard for four months, despite their professional commitments, to convert the 256-page book into a soft copy. The school got this soft copy printed in the Braille format. Cybage sponsored the master copy and two subsequent copies. These books will help the visually-impaired students who can’t access quality school education due to the lack of appropriate study material.
