The Discipline aspires to celebrate its 25th year of (Silver Jubilee) establishment by organizing an International Conference on Environment with the theme ‘Climate Change and Ecosystem Restoration’ to be held during 19–20 February 2022. Such conferences would continue afterwards at two-year interval. Khulna finds its place in the global network because of its geographic location and climate change issues. This coastal region accommodates world heritage sites, and ecosystems of global importance (such as the Sundarbans mangrove), and as well is known for nature and human driven calamities such as cyclones and tidal surges. The Khulna University is located at the core of this region and experiences all the locational actualities. Khulna University attained its leadership as one of the most celebrated academic institutions in Bangladesh because of its quest for up to date academic and research endeavour. Climate Change: Adaptation, mitigation and transformation issues

Ecosystem Restoration: Threats due to human intervention, sustainable ecosystem services

Abstract preparation

Abstract should not exceed 350 words including keywords. Thematic area and detailed affiliation of the author(s) and corresponding author should be mentioned. Email and mobile number of the corresponding author is essential.

Submission and acceptance of abstracts

Please send your abstract to the Organizing Secretary through e-mail. Participants will be informed on acceptance of abstract within three (3) weeks after submission.

Instructions for oral presentation

Author will be allocated 10 to 12 minutes for presentation. Multimedia projection facilities will be provided. Participants using multimedia are advised to take measures to avoid possible software incompatibility.

Instructions for poster presentation

The poster board measures 120 cm height X 90 cm width. Poster to be prepared in advance and large enough to be viewed from a distance of about 90 cm. The top label of each poster to be printed with the title and name(s) of the author(s) and their affiliation(s). Simple drawings and charts with bold lines is expected, and a PP size photograph of the presenter may be pasted at the top. Mounting facilities for posters will be available at the conference venue.
