Key Responsibilities Finance and Budgeting Analyse and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements; collate financial reporting materials and oversee all financial, project/program and grants accounting. Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors; assess any changes necessary. Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep senior leadership team abreast of the organisations’ financial status. Manage organisational cash flow and forecasting. Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the finance department’s overall policy and procedure manual. Institute internal control system to protect company’s assets, manage company’s investment portfolio, and develop appropriate strategies to achieve financial objectives within acceptable risk preference. Providing due diligence for major transactions and review accounting activities to ensure that a standard level of internal controls and audit procedures and techniques are consistently applied. Establish, implement, and maintain QMS processes. Represent management on the ISO program, and oversee the risk management group. Administration/Operations Serve as a partner on the organisations’ administrative and operational processes, with a goal of continuously developing and improving systems. Developing the organisations’ human resources and administration, and enhancing professional development. Work closely and transparently with all external partners including third-party vendors and consultants.
