Kevin Pearce suffered a life-threatening head injury in Dec. 2009.

The injury occurred when he hit his head on the lip of the halfpipe, while performing a frontside double cork 1080.

It occurred at Park City Mountain Resort.

Kevin was in the hospital for 5 months and had a 19 month rehabilitation program in Salt Lake City, Utah and Englewood,
