EQAL 2011 What did we hope to achieve?

◦ Drive a renewal of the curriculum and portfolio by a new undergraduate curriculum framework

◦ Control ‘workload creep’ for students and staff by limiting number of summative assessments and learning outcomes

◦ Create a seamless, personalised online environment for learning resources and course management

◦ Joined-up systems and processes to underpin this◦ Create real-time, responsive quality assurance and

enhancement informed by student feedback◦ Real improvement in student satisfaction (NSS) and

hence league table position
