BIOMETRIC FINGERPRINT DEVICE - HELP DOCUMENT

From 2016-17 onwards kdfwf is using one more method for accepting life

certificates. This method is based on aadhaar number of the pensioner.

Pensioners who seeded his aadhaar number with kdfwf database could use this

service. Seeding can be done using the login of DEO, DNO and head office. Finger

print devices needed is supplied to all DNO's and Block offices free of cost from

kdfwf.

Procedure for using this device

Initially the device need to register with Kdfwf.

How registration of device can be done?

1. Verify the type of OS.

Right click on My computer and select properties.

From system type find the type of operating system whether 32 bit or 64 bit.

2. Now logon to www.kdfwf.org.

3. Click Finger print installer option present in home page.

4. Select the software you want to download from the following screen.

5. The device supplied from KDFWF is Startek . So find the OS type (32 bit/ 64bit)

and download the appropriate one from the list. The following files will be

downloaded to Download folder.

LC_DP_64.zip Now extract the files.Two files are present in the folder

Double click and install the two files.One file is the driver software and other one is Ksheera sachethana application.

6. Now the installed Ksheera sachethana will be present at Desktop as an icon. Double click open. Plug the device in to the usb port of computer.

7. Click Register device page.

8. Select the Device owner (District/Block/Society)

9. From the District option select District/Block/Society

10. Enter an Alias name for the device and click register button.

11. Contact kdfwf for approving the device registration. Once approved the device is ready for use.

How to use Ksheera sachethana?

1. Open ksheera sachethana software.

2. Find the pensioner--You directly select the pensioner using Basic search or use filter and select using Advance search option.

3. The Aadhaar seeded status is shown on the grid. Only seeded pensioners could

use this method of submitting LC.

4. Select pensioner from list and click find.

5. His details will be populated. Verify the details and if found correct click Scan

Finger printer button.

6. Select the finger to scan and click begin scan.

7. Now place the finger on the device. The light of the reader will blinkle showing

reading of fingerprint. The details are passed on to kdfwf data base and then to

UIDAI central server from where the details are authenticated and verified. If the

validation is ok the following screen appears.

8. The life certificate is accepted and the pension will be disbursed along with

next regular pension disbursal.

9. If rejected try using other fingers and if the error persists suspect the person

be wrong.

10. Pensioner of a particular society can approach any life certificate receiving

centre for LC submission.
