Dr. Ambrose O. Jagongo is the Chair of Postgraduate Studies Board and Coordinator of Quality Assurance in the department of Accounting and Finance, and a Staff Mentor in the University Staff- to- Student Mentoring Program. He is the immediate former Head of Teaching Programs and Publication Section in the Academic Division at Kenyatta University. Previously, he served as Coordinator of KU - KIST Collaboration Learning Center. He also served as Assistant Registrar at the Examination section-KU. Dr. Jagongo is a holder of a PhD in Entrepreneurship Finance, MBA (Finance) and BA (Business Studies and Economics) all from Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya. He is a full member of Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and a member of the American Association of International Researchers (AAIR), a member of the Editorial Board for World Journal of Social Sciences (ISSN 1838-1184) and holds a Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Cooperative University of Kenya. Dr. Jagongo is known for his prowess in Entrepreneurship Finance, where his main research area is Financial Management for MSMEs. Dr. Jagongo has been involved in various curriculum development/reviews, e.g. Curriculum development of Bachelor of Education (Technical and Vocational Education); Curriculum development of Doctor of Business Administration program; Review of the MSc (finance) program; Review of the PhD (in Business)program and Review of the Executive MBA Program. He has over the years effectively supervised several MSc (Finance), MBA and PhD students at Kenyatta University and in other universities. In addition he serves as external examiner for undergraduate, MSc (Finance), MBA and PhD thesis for the University of Nairobi, Kenya Methodist University, St. Paul’s University and Mount Kenya University.
