DAY 2 | NAIROBI - OL PEJETA CONSERVANCYLeave Nairobi after breakfast to Sweetwaters, heading north, the tour will pass near Thika and continue north through some breathtaking scenery dotted with rushing mountain streams and

fields of tea and coffee. Arrival at the camp for lunch and then depart for an afternoon game drive including a visit to the Chimp Sanctuary, then a return trip to the camp as the sun sets.

DAY 4 | OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY - ELEMENTAITA Leaving Sweetwaters and Mount Kenya behind, then tour heads west to Nyahururu, where the famous Thomson’s Falls, a 74 metre cascade is located. The tour then continues south to Lake Nakuru, coloured a shimmering flamingo pink from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores and onto Lake Elementaita and the Soysambu Conservancy. Following lunch there will be a two hour bush walk with camp naturalist to visit the Kariandusi pre-historic site and the Kikopey hot springs returning for a sundowner (cocktail at sunset) before retiring to the camp.

DAY 5 | GREAT RIFT VALLEYAfter breakfast the tour will depart for a picnic lunch and game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The morning will be spent game viewing and bird watching around the lake. The parkland surrounding the shallow soda lake has acacia, giant euphorbia forests as well as grassland and rocky cliffs. Along with the stunning sight of thousands of migratory flamingos, as well as hundreds of other bird species in this area. The park is home to many animals including buffalo, waterbuck, leopards, giraffes and black rhinos. The tour will then continue on for a game drive in the Soysambu Conservancy before arriving at the camp by late afternoon.

DAY 6 | LAKE ELEMENTAITA - MASAI MARA GAME RESERVEAfter an early morning breakfast there will be a drive to Narok town via Mai-Mahiu with a brief rest stop before arriving at Mara for lunch at a lodge. After lunch the tour will depart for an afternoon game drive before arriving back to Mara Serena lodge as the sun sets.

DAY 7 | MASAI MARA GAME RESERVEEarly morning and afternoon game drives.

DAY 8 | MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE - DEPARTURE NAIROBIAfter breakfast the tour will depart the Masai Mara and head across acres of rolling wheat and barley farms to Narok, the district headquarters of Maasailand. From here the tour will cross the vast plains of the Rift Valley. Here it will be possible to see herds of giraffe and gazelle before the tour heads up the rift escarpment. Then into Kenya’s bustling capital to be dropped off at a city centre hotel or the airport in the early afternoon.
