Front cover• They have used a green colour which corresponds with

the colours in the background but also the green can support the fact that Kent is the “Garden of England”

• The yellow colour scheme of writing also carries correspondence with the yellow flowers making it stand out and catching attention of reader, giving the magazine some vibrancy

• The use of promoting competitions on the front cover is also a key code and convention as it will entice the reader to buy the magazine

• The blending of the font colours and background blend in creating that house style

• The information on the front also corresponds with the region as it aims to promote the features of Kent

• The advert features a picture from the contents page but enlarged to emphasise and show the beauty attraction of Dover castle, which is one of the many castles in Kent

• The castle posses the history of kent as a county blessed with enriched history

• Thus this attracts the target audience of older genration as it is a point of interest for them

• It’s a relatively simple advert with the main picture advertising itself with the green beauty of picture standing out making it look attractive and enticing
