The interviews were conducted in quiet rooms so there was no background noise which demonstrates the construction involved.

Also there was a recurring theme of Mise-En-scene which was gambling, due to its close link to the areas in which country music is very popular and where it is performed live. Also this ties to some of Kenny's songs which are related to Gambling such as the Gambler. One notable prop which was part of the Mise-En-Scene was a Roulette Wheel.

Therefore, Cutaways were used in order to ensure there were no accidental Jump Cuts. The cutaways also help to keep the audience interested and provide evidence of things in relation to what the Interviewee is talking about.
