Daytime: Arrive at Ferenc Liszt International

Airport in Budapest. A designated guide

greets you and takes you to the Four

Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest.

Nighttime: After a champagne reception at

the Four Seasons, the Summit will begin with

a welcome dinner at Gundel Restaurant,

featuring the finest in Hungarian cuisine.

Additional tour programing, performances, and

hotel rooms may be arranged for those arriving

early to Budapest.

Day 1: Budapest Monday, June 17, 2019

Day 2: Budapest Tuesday, June 18, 2019

Daytime: In the morning, enjoy guided visits

to some of Budapest’s highlights, including

Hero’s Square and Dohány Synagogue. Tour

St. Matthias Church and listen to live local

music. In the afternoon, dine at

Halászbástya Restaurant at Fisherman’s

Bastion. Located in the Castle District, this

restaurant offers the best views in the entire

city from ramparts overlooking the river.

Nighttime: After a private tour and concert

at the Franz Liszt Academy and Music

Conservancy, U.S. Ambassador David B.

Cornstein hosts us for the Budapest Gold

Medal in the Arts Gala Dinner at the

Ambassador’s Residence.

Daytime: After a private tour and conversation

at the Hungarian Parliament Building, board the

Majestic Imperator Train, for Vienna.

Participate in the KCICA Business Meeting,

moving to the dining car for cocktails and lunch.

Upon arrival to Vienna, check in to the Hotel

Sacher Wein.

Nighttime: After settling in, enjoy a welcome reception at the Sala Terrena in Belvedere Palace.

View the masterpieces of Gustav Klimt and attend an exclusive private performance of “Emilia

Flöge, Beloved Muse” based on his adoring letters to the iconic Viennese fashion designer.

Following the performance, enjoy a private dinner in the Marble Hall.

Day 3: Budapest to Vienna Wednesday, June 19, 2019

Daytime: After breakfast, visit Secession, enjoying a

discussion with the Director of one of the finest

contemporary art museums in Europe. Embark on a

short architecture tour of the Otto Wagner

Postsparkasse and Looshauses. Tour the private

collections of the Rasumofsky Palace.

Nighttime: Privately tour the Schönbrunn Palace's

Great Gallery, featuring ceiling frescos by the Italian

artist Gregorio Guglielmi. Afterwards, attend a

dinner at the private residence of U.S. Ambassador

to Austria, Trevor D. Traina, together with local

artists and leaders of the arts community.

Day 4: Vienna Thursday, June 20, 2019

Day 5: Vienna Friday, June 21, 2019

Daytime: Begin the day with a private tour of the Vienna State

Opera House. Enjoy a short, interactive briefing at the

Ministry of Finance, and then tour the nearby Winterpalais of

Prince Eugene of Savoy. At the Coburg Palace, delight in a

special concert before lunch, followed by a dessert reception

on the terrace.

Nighttime: View the “hidden treasures” of the Albertina

Museum with special guest Dr. Klaus Albrecht Schröder, the

Director General of the museum. Finally, celebrate impactful

Viennese artists at the Gold Medal in the Arts Gala Dinner in

the Albertina’s grand Hall of Muses.

Daytime: Enjoy your morning at leisure

with private transfers to Vienna

International Airport for flights homeward.
