“You have to wonder why Kelly’s still single”

Following heat’s story last week that Kelly Brook had come out fi ghting after dumping

her fi ancé of eight months, David McIntosh, his family has thrown a few punches of their own.

David’s big brother Benjamin spoke to heat in a series of Facebook messages last week, where he not only insisted David would “never cheat on Kelly”, but also said the 34-year-old model seemed “needy and insecure,” and afraid of ruining her “girl-next-door image”.

Allegations continued to circulate about former Gladiator David’s infi delities with his ex, Sarah Harper, who claimed he’d spent the night with her when Kelly was in LA. But Benjamin, 33, backed up David – who denies Sarah’s claims – saying, “He’d never cheat on Kelly with Mrs Harper.” He then blamed Kelly for the failed romance, writing, “One wonders why she is still single and has had failed engagements. As for [David] being needy and insecure, it seems it’s her who is needy and insecure. [He]

couldn’t be himself for fear of ruining her girl-next-door, golden girl, s**t-don’t-stink image.”

And far from David, 28, using her for fame, Benjamin – who hasn’t seen his brother in a year and has never met Kelly – says it was Kelly who ended up holding David’s career back. “He loved her and would do anything to make it work. It seems putting her fi rst didn’t pay off… some women need more attention than most.”

Meanwhile, Kelly busied herself on a series of

nights out in LA last week, laughing off

rumours she’s back in touch with her ex Thom Evans and gossip that she was seeing

her One Big Happy co-star Nick Zano.

David McIntosh got over Kelly Brook quickly, then… last week, he fl ew to South Beach in Florida, stripped off and started fl irting with German-born model Metisha Schaefer by the hotel pool. Slightly awkwardly, it’s the same hotel that Kelly and David stayed at back in February. Smooth, mate.

Clearly, Metisha fell for David’s chat-up lines as they were spotted strolling along the street in Miami shortly afterwards. Pulling girls should be the least of his worries as, last week, some very graphic photos of David leaked online.
