BiographyKeko Yoma was born in2004.

From its beginning, tha band has hadthe opportunity of playing in different

bars, clubs, pubs, theaters and manysocial events, getting recognition inChile, specially in Santiago and Val-paraiso. In 2008 they brought out theirrst LP, called El ms weon de los

caminos el disco, with the partici-pation of the chilean producer AndrsGodoy.

Nowadays, Keko Yoma is working on a newProject, that is supose to be ready during the rstsemester of 2010. They have already recorded afew songs in Holland and Spain, during the lasttour over there.

Within these ve years of musicalcareer, Keko Yoma has participatedin hundreds of concerts (Vive Latino,Landjuweel Festival in Amsterdam,Freigeist Festival in Berlin, etc.), 4international tours (Europe 2006,

Argentina 2007, Europe 2008 andEurope 2009). They also have twovideo clips El Desatinao(2005) andMi vida se fue por el W.C.(2006)which is part of the eleventh discof Escuelas de Rock (Schoolsof Rock), plus their debut album

El ms weon de los caminos eldisco.

9 countries, 25 cities, more than10.000 km, where little clubs,

streets and festivals have had thechance to witness the sound and

choreographies of this band. Alwaysgetting a great response from theaudience and from the media,national and International.

Keko Yoma, currently working on theirsecond album, describe themselves as a self-managed band, with a promising future intheir country. They want to show all over theworld a piece of the chilean popular music.

stage the crowd danced to the beat of several

musical styles: sometimes rock, sometimes

Casa de locos con cable a tierra suabo

Neu-Ulm. La locura tiene un nombre: Keko Yoma. Bajo este nom-

bre una joven banda chilena propaga su derecho a hacer locuras.

La Flussmeisterei en Neu-Ulm se convirti en una casa de locosmusicalmente hablando. El pblico lo encontr tremendo. Vistiendo

batas blancas de centros siquitricos tomaron por asalto el esce-

nario, contagiando al pblico con la consigna Dance and y. Por

el cable a tierra que segn dicen los dichos es carcacterstico de

los suabos, lo de volar se hizo difcil, pero despus de un par de

canciones de Keko Yoma ya no haba quin resistiera: delante del

escenario el pblico se movi al son de una sucesin de estilos

musicales: a veces rock, a veces raggae, despus cumbia y samba.

Hasta Thriller de Michael Jackson fue latinizado.

El cantante con cola de vaca brinca por el escenario, como si estuvi-

era conectado a un cable de alta tensin, se disfraza a una velocidad

sorprendente, suda, canta, salta al pblico, rene a los asistentes de-

trs suyo como el autista de Hamelin: un rey entre los animadores.

Y nadie se pregunta si este derviche chileno tiene que estar dopado,

porque a pesar del alto rendimiento fsico, Keko Yoma hace msica

perfecta. La banda combina rock, punk y ska con un sinfn de in-

strumentos de la patria chilena y le encanta tomarle el pelo a xitos

musicales de nivel mundial.

Desde el 2004, los chilenos van de continente en continente con sus

tours, hacindose los locos con el pblico. La Flussmeisterei fue el

lugar perfecto para desfogarse en esta clida tarde veraniega. Un su-

abo se sorprenda y alegraba a la vez: Tanta diversin por tan poca

plata,
