The meeting of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was adjourned for half an hour due to

lack of quorum. The meeting then held under the Chairmanship of Principal, KDKCE at the

Conference hall at 3.30 pm on the same day i.e. Monday, 02/07/2018.

Agenda 1: Approval of minutes of Internal Quality Assurance Cell Meeting held on 24/03/2018 and

Resolution 1: Resolved that the IQAC unanimously approved the minutes of the meeting held on

24/03/2018

Agenda 2: Review of preparations of proposed NAAC visit.

Resolution 2: Dr.P.D.Khandait, NAAC Coordinator at College level informed that the NAAC SSR is

already uploaded by the college on 5th January 2018.The SSR verification process is going on online. So

after DVV verification NAAC peer team may visit the institute. So all the HODs are informed to do all

sort of preparations for ensuing Peer team visit.

Agenda 3 : Review of submission of self assessment report (SAR) to NBA

Resolution 3: Dr.A.M.Badar, Vice Principal informed that five Departments of KDK College of

Engineering viz Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer

Technology and Electronics Engineering have passed the pre qualifier stage of NBA, so final SAR is to

be uploaded before December 2018.

Agenda 4: Review of international conference by Basic Science Department

Resolution 4: International conference on “Multidimensional Role of Basic Science in Advanced

Technology” ICMBAT-2018 is finalized to be held on14th -15th December, 2018. The conference is to

be organised by Department of Basic Science, KDK College of Engineering, Nagpur, in association with

Luminescence Society of India (LSI). Dr S.P.Wankhede, Department of Physics shall be the convener for

the conference. The preparations are in full swing.

Agenda 5: Review of international conference by Mechanical Engineering Department

Resolution5: The international conference on" emerging trends in mechanical engineering" ETIME-2019

is proposed be held on 15th and 16

th March 2019. Dr.C.C.Handa shall be the Convener of the Conference
