Brochure
Description: This is a two-sided offset folding brochure.
Programs used:Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
Date:December 5, 2015
Course/Instructor:Communications 150- Visual Media with Brother Ben Pingel
Objectives:This brochure was made to pursuade people to plan a trip to the TreeTop Resort and inform them about what it has to offer.
Process:I first went to InDesign and set up the lines for my fold so that I could start laying things out and knowing where to put them. Because the message of the resort is outdoor adventures, I created repetition by putting evergreen trees through out the design and the logo. I also used a monochromatic green color scheme so that it would tie into the trees.
I created the logo using Illustrator using the pen tool and text. I then placed it on the front of the brochure so that right away people would know what the company is. I also created the text wrapped image by opening a photo of a hiker in Photoshop and using the quick selection tool I selected the person, refined the edges and then deleted the inverse. I then inserted this into InDesign using “place” and then using the wrap text options I created a flow around the hiker.
