Infection Control Officer Ministry of Health Capital Health DirectorateAs Infection Control Officer : 1. Ensures that infection control units at all governmental , private hospitals and primary health care centers (governmental & private) among capital health directorate are followed the infection control guidelines .

2.Supervising and implement Infection Control policies and procedures through daily

schedule program with capital health supervisory team to the designated area.

3. Responsible for preparing an annual plan of training and education program for all

health employees at Capital Health Directorate ( Doctors, Nurses and Paramedical

staff) for (16) comprehensive health care centers, (71) primary health center and

(38) subsidiary health clinic at capital health directorate for all aspects of infection

control in order to give a safe practice within the Healthcare Centers.

4. Responsible for preparation of monthly report to infection control committee

regarding health-care acquired infections; disseminates data to medical and nursing

staff

5. Identifies risk or potential risk for exposure both to employee or another patient of

communicable disease or spread of infection and takes appropriate action as needed

Participate in the preparation for the Joint Commission International’s Survey on April 2008. by training nursing staff for JCIA standards and related requirements for its accreditation programs during the preparation for the final Survey.

Responsible for management of Nursing Services and patient services of assigned nursing at First floor for afternoon and night duty by Assesses, plans, directs, implements and evaluates patient care to comply with JCIA standards of Nursing practice and performance.
