CHAPPY CHAT

This has been a full term with so much happening. Book week was great fun. I think the students were so amazed to see me as ‘Where’s Wally’, I told them I was Wally’s sister Wanda!

I have really enjoyed running various sessions with the students. Hopefully, they are putting into practise what they are learning. Friendships and learning to manage all forms of relationships are such important

skills for life. My Life Rulz always brings out interesting conversations.

With only three weeks to go let’s give it all we’ve got. Term 3 has its challenges, especially with Year 6’s and friendships. Remember, no-one can tell us who we can and can’t be friends with, however, the friends we choose can either lift us up or pull us down. The choice is ours.

I trust all our dads had a special day on Sunday and did something memorable with their kids. If you’re looking for something to do in the holiday, why not consider packing a Christmas Shoebox. Operation Christmas Child is run by the organisation

Samaritans Purse. Shoeboxes are packed and shipped to third world countries where they are then distributed to schools and children for whom many of them have never received a gift before. Take a look at their website and if you want a box and brochure, I have in my class. https://operationchristmaschild.org.au It’s never too late to redefine self-control, to change long ingrained habits, and to do the work you’re capable of.
