Eligibility - Any graduate in any faculty.
Medium - Sanskrit, Marathi, Hindi, English
Duration - 2 yrs. (Four Semesters)
Total Marks - 1600 (First Year - Semester I =400 & Semester II =400,
Second Year - Semester III =400 & Semester IV =400)
Credit Points - Total 80 credits for M.A. Programme. 5 Credits for per course. Credit is
construed as corresponding to approximately 30 to 40 learning hours.
The performance of the learners shall be evaluated into two components. The learner's
performance shall be assessed by Internal Assessment with 40% marks in the first component
by conducting the Semester end Examinations with 60% marks in the second component. The
allocation of marks for the Internal Assessment and Semester End Examinations are as shown
below :-
a) Internal Assessment - 40% for each course. 40 Marks

Revision of the P.G. Course in Education (M.A. in Education) - As per U.G.C. Guideline
A meeting of the Board of Studies in Education, in faculty of education was held on
16th June 2015 for discussing on the U.G.C. model curriculum and finalizing the Choice Based
Credit Sysyem syllabus of M.A. Education of Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University,
Ramtek
The Hon'ble Member thoroughly discussed and unanimously finalized the given
semester model curriculum. The draft was finalized by the BOS Member in the meeting and
then again discussed by the faculty meeting of all the faculty member of the faculty of education
K.K.S.U. Ramtek and unanimously accepted the draft with some internal change in the
structure and curriculum by considering the local need's of this area.
The structure for M.A. Education Course(Full Time) finalized by members shall be as follows
:

Semester and Choice based credit system course from June 2015.
Rules and Regulation.
1. The M.A. degree will be awarded to the student who completes total of 60 credits in a
one year in two semesters.
2. The evaluation of which will be decided by the teacher. Each course will have 100
marks.
3. Each course paper have an internal assessment of 40 marks.
1) Seminar & Tutorial -20 (1 credit)
2) Assignments - 20 (1 Credit)
4. Internal marks having separate passing.
5. While marks will be given for all examinations they will be condoled into grades.

A meeting of the Board of Studies in Education, in faculty of education was held on
16th June 2015 for discussing on the U.G.C. model curriculum and finalizing the Choice Based
Credit System syllabus of M.A. Education of Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University,
Ramtek
The Hon'ble Member thoroughly discussed and unanimously finalized the given
semester model curriculum. The draft was finalized by the BOS Member in the meeting and
then again discussed by the faculty meeting of all the faculty member of the faculty of education
K.K.S.U. Ramtek and unanimously accepted the draft with some internal change in the
structure and curriculum by considering the local need's of this area.
The structure for M.A. Education Course(Full Time) finalized by members shall be as follows
:
DURATION : Two Year ( I, II, III & IV Semesters) Total marks - 1600

Master of Arts (M.A.) Education Course
Semester and Choice Based Credit system course from June 2015.
Rules and Regulation.
1. The M.A. degree will be awarded to the student who completes total of 60 credits in a
one year in two semester.
2. The evaluation of which will be decided by the teacher. Each course will have 100
marks.
3. Each course paper have an internal assessment of 40 marks.

2) Assignments - 20 (1 Credit)
4. Internal marks having separate passing.
5. While marks will be given for all examinations they will be convolved into grades.
6. To pass a students shall have to get minimum 50% marks.

A meeting of the Board of Studies in Education, in faculty of education was held on
16th June 2015 for discussing on the U.G.C. model curriculum and finalizing the Choice Based
Credit System syllabus of M. A Education of Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University,
Ramtek
The Hon'ble Member thoroughly discussed and unanimously finalized the given
semester model curriculum. The draft was finalized by the BOS Member in the meeting and
then again discussed by the faculty meeting of all the faculty member of the faculty of education
K.K.S.U. Ramtek and unanimously accepted the draft with some internal change in the
structure and curriculum by considering the local need's of this area.
The structure for M.A. Education Course(Full Time) finalized by members shall be as follows

Rules and Regulation.
1. The M.A. degree will be awarded to the student who completes total of 60 credits in a one
year in two semesters.
2. The evaluation of which will be decided by the teacher. Each course will have 100
marks.
3. Each course paper have an internal assessment of 40 marks.

4. Internal marks having separate passing.
5. While marks will be given for all examinations they will be converting into grades.

2. Students who have failed and who have been absent for the entire course may
reappear at the semester end exam. Their internal marks will not change. he/she can also

A meeting of the Board of Studies in Education, in faculty of education was held on 16
th June 2015 for discussing on the U.G.C. model curriculum and finalizing the Choice Based
Credit System syllabus of M.A Education of Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University,
Ramtek
The Hon'ble Member thoroughly discussed and unanimously finalized the given
semester model curriculum. The draft was finalized by the BOS Member in the meeting and
then again discussed by the faculty meeting of all the faculty member of the faculty of education
K.K.S.U. Ramtek and unanimously accepted the draft with some internal change in the
structure and curriculum by considering the local need's of this area.
The structure for M.A. Education Course.(Full Time) finalized by members shall be as follows

Rules and Regulation.
1. The M.A. degree will be awarded to the student who completes total of 40 credits in a one
year in two semesters.
2. The evaluation of which will be decided by the teacher. Each course will have 100
marks.
3. Each course paper have an internal assessment of 40 marks.
