Design Inspiration

A high performance and visually stunning building envelope was required for this Performance, Arts and Sports facility in Geelong Australia. Abstract shapes, bold colours and a unique design were at the heart of the architect’s vision for this project.

The completed building was exactly as designed and provides an attractive, unique and functional space for the local community.

Aesthetically Intriguing

Since this building is an addition to the Kardinia International College, the design of this project needed to be fun and exciting. The abstract and quirky shapes of the building, together with the bold use of colour, aims to create a modern and aspiring space, reflecting the vibrant personalities of high school pupils.

Fire Defence Performance

The safety of high school pupils is of the utmost importance to Kardinia International College, and significant fire prevention procedures need to be in place. Kingspan Micro-Rib panels are LPCB and FM approved, providing significant protection of your building.

Protection against the Elements

Due to the local climate the panels needed to be able to cope with extreme temperatures. Kingspan’s Architectural Wall Panels in Micro-Rib profile were the perfect choice because of their proven high technical performance. These panels provided a durable solution and fulfilled the functional requirements of the brief.
