Christmas Carols in Carrington Place
Summer Holiday Chook Carers Needed It’s nearly holidays, and we’re once again relying on our fabulous community to look after our chickens over the summer. If you are able to commit to one week of holiday chook care and enjoy a week of free eggs, please contact Cate on [email protected].

Community Liaison News
This year Katoomba Public School will not be hosting carols on the oval, but
instead will be joining the community at Carrington Place in Katoomba for a
wonderful evening of carol singing.
Our school choirs will be singing, along with other local schools. There will
also be a chance for everyone to join in and sing some carols together.
The Chamber of Commerce will be installing a big Christmas tree which will
be lit on the night.
Date: Thursday 5th December
Time: 6pm
We look forward to seeing you all there on the
night!
Congratulations to Alana Willey and Edie Leach of 5W who have both been selected for the Blue Mountains Basketball representative Under 14 team. The girls will be playing at numerous locations around Sydney. Well done!

16 Weeks To Go to BMMF! Thanks for all the interest and questions about the Music Festival this week. It’s great to see you’re as excited as we are. Keep ‘em coming! With that in mind, we are planning a little get together at the RSL on Wednesday, 4th December, where Toni and Imelda (our fearless leaders) will give a brief overview, answer any questions and give specific information about how you can get involved. 6.30pm for a drink, meeting to start at 7pm.
One of the questions we had this week was how the 10 hours of volunteering works. Basically, for your free weekend ticket (worth $280) you are expected to attend a one hour meeting and most of the volunteering is done through three separate three hour sessions — across the weekend. You’ll be surprised how quickly the three hours disappears and then you’ll be free to enjoy the music. If you can make it, please come along to the RSL meeting, otherwise you can always get me on [email protected] if you have any questions. See you at pick up, Matt Leach (Edie & Frankie’s Dad)

K6N had an amazing time swimming at Katoomba Pool as part of the School Swimming Scheme.
Here are some action shots of the class!
K6N had a visit
from Guma while
we were playing in
the forest by Gunar
Garung. It sat and
watched in the tree
while we played in
the shade.
