We manufacture most of the DIRECTALPINE brand clothing models in several garment workshops in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Every one of our workshops specialises in a certain type of product in which it excels and for which it has perfectly trained workers. Production in the Czech Republic close to the headquarters of our firm in Liberec allows highly flexible reaction to customer demands, and the ability to make missing and sold out models immediately, and in general it provides a very high quality, fast service both for corporate customers and end users of the brand. We also perform a complete warranty and post-warranty service on all outdoor clothing of the brand DIRECTALPINE. Our partners in foreign production are exclusively specialised, technologically focussed companies with their own development at the highest level, in particular from Japan, Korea or Vietnam, who currently represent the cutting edge in the clothing industry in terms of technology and quality.

We are enthusiastic bikers, paragliders and mountain climbers - in short, active people. Our entire team, we employees of Direct Alpine, quite literally fight for the possibility to try out and test any new product or prototype directly in the field. We also develop the new clothing for ourselves. In the design workshop we utilise our experience from „outside“ so that the improved styles and individual details make up a high-quality product which serves its owner and may even save his life in the mountains.

Most appreciated performance: Probably one long bide trip, which took nearly a year, from the Czech Lands to Morocco and back. But not because of the distance as such, rather because of the adventure and new discoveries. Two goggling boys after school mounted their bikes and as they had a free year ahead of them, they set off to the south to seek the sun. It was an apprentice life trip. We have memories for the whole life.

This successful collection is a big shift in the concept of the DIRECTALPINE brand. In addition to our traditional values – functionality and quality – we have focused even more on the much demanded colour harmony of the individual products, in short the overall concept of products and colours, with an emphasis on every detail.

A turquoise glacial lake; a colour of a mountain stream fed with spring thaw; deep yellow spring buttercups growing right on the stream banks; a horizon lit with low deep yellow winter sunlight; those are the colours accompanying me on my mountain wanders, our trips to the nature. They are connected with the sun and the ice, with the beautiful experiences of mountains in winter. In short they are deeply engraved in our hearts. And it is these colours that dominate our new collection. Our customers will certainly love the inspiration by nature like I do. They are like us and we are like them. We meet in the mountains. We understand each other.

You as well as your customers will certainly appreciate the whole range of new models and innovated bestsellers. They range from models for real specialists to products for the widest outdoor public. We again present a proof of our main vision – to develop and offer the best wear for the roughest conditions.

The prestigious top series MOUNTAIN TOP will introduce a new generation of the successful mountaineering set Devil Alpine. Its cut has been improved and its attractiveness has increased even more thanks to the new very heavy-duty stretch hard-shell, developed in cooperation with TORAY Japan. Among the so popular primaloft products we offer innovated anoraks and newly also thermo trousers. An interesting new development is represented by the Foraker anorak, named after this beautiful Alaskan mountain. The anorak is our first model with the excellent insulation Climashield. Our trousers have been more and more successful year by year. This year ´s collection will also introduce a couple of new models, with a climax represented by Cascade Plus, still improved, with maximum emphasis on functionality and low weight. All models are in perfectly harmonised colours and even the black and grey variants are enhanced with at least small colour details. The popular series Outdoor Active brings new anorak models, affordable to the widest portfolio of customers and yet on a functionally and qualitatively high level. The popular insulation, fleece and techno-stretch products have been extended with new colour variants.

The trendy series called Climbing has been enhanced with several new colours and models. I have altered the climbing sweatshirts ROCK and FROG and the popular loose trousers FOX with new and livelier colours.

Attractive accessories include new models of caps in a wide range of colours harmonised with the overall concept of the collection. Every introduction of a new collection is preceded by a period of very hard work. We utilise our past experience and developments, top-standard technologies, operative manufacture in the Czech Republic and in the EU, and support by ideas of all members of our team. It is a good feeling to be supported by the whole team, by our past development which has never accepted compromising, whether in the materials used, the cup modelling, the details, the overall processing and quality.

Ideal for runners, skiers, and adventure travelers, all fabrics in this series feature a patented bi-component knit construction that uses different yarns on either side of the fabric. This creates two different surfaces: one that is optimized to move moisture away from the skin, the other to dry quickly.

Polartec® Power Stretch®

• Polartec® Power Stretch® fabrics feature body-hugging 4-way stretch and are very breathable. Many of the fabrics feature a proprietary construction with two unique surfaces: the durable, smooth outer layer is wind and abrasionresistant; the soft inner layer pulls moisture away from skin keeping dry, warm and comfortable.

Tecnostretch• Pontetorto Tecnostretch, is ideal for base and mid layering. The component yarns make the face durable, whilst the polyester reverse has both insulation and wicking properties - added elastomer ensures a body hugging fit.

Tecnopile• The fleece material notable for its modern cord effect and high insulation level, and is also highly breathable. The ideal fabric for maintaining body temperature. Special finish prevents pilling.

Tecnowool• Traditional wool combined with synthetic fibres is the perfect combination for casual and sports. Fashion combined with technology. The outside is durable and stays soft also after repeated washing.

Thermocool• ADVANSE ThermoCool is desinged to optimize the body’s natural thermoregulation capabilities through smart fibre cross-sections: providing evaporative cooling or thermo-buffering according to the wearer’s needs.

Thermolite®

• Thermolite® provides warmth and comfort without weight, even when wet. It’s the lightweight fabric that provides heavy-duty performance made with ADVANSA engineered hollow-core fibres that trap air for greater insulation. Thermolite® is the perfect layering fabric because it’s comfortable and lightweight, allowing more freedom of movement.

PrimaLoft® SPORT• PrimaLoft® SPORT is a premium performance insulation engineered for superior warmth, water resistance, loft, softness and compressibility. PrimaLoft® SPORT insulation keeps the body warm, dry and comfortable, even in extreme conditions.

PrimaLoft® ONE• PrimaLoft® ONE is the highest performing insulation on the market for warmth, water resistance, softness and compressibility. PrimaLoft® ONE is an ultra-fine microfiber insulation that is as warm, soft and lightweight, and is warmer wet or dry than all other insulations.

Climashield HL• The continuos filament insulation. High loft - High loft provides comfort and thermal efficiency with less weight. Compressible - Highly resilient fibers compress easily and bounce back to ultra loft. Warm - Traps body heat while moisture wicks away. Durable - Unlike down and other syntetic insulations, this high loft insulation is machine-washable and will not clump or shift. Water resistant - Dries quickly and maintains warmth even in wet conditions. Hypoallergenic - Unlike down, does not provoke allergies.
