The Bharathiar University was established at Coimbtore by the

Government of Tamilnadu in February 1982 under the provision

of the Bharathiar University act, 1981 (Act of 1982). The university

grant commission (UGC),New Delhi, recognised the university

in May 1985 for the purpose of grants, Bharathiar University is

a member of the associate of the Indian Universities and

commonwelth Universities; hence, the degrees awarded are

mutually recognised by each other. Bharathiar University is

accredited with ‘A’ Grade by NAAC and placed among the top

ten university at the national level. The University is situated at

the back drop of Maruthmalai hills in the Western Ghat range, in

a sprawling campus of 100 acres of land, 15 kms from the city of

Coimbatore. As of now, the University has 102 affiliated colleges

- 90 Arts and Science College, 11 management institutions, 1 Air

Force Administrative college, in addition, there are 21 Research

Institutes of state and central Governments which are recognised

MBA programme is four semesters (two years).

Although the MBA programme is based on the framework of the Bharathiar University syllabus and examination requirements, the MBA course work at the Kasturi Institute seeks to go beyond textbook-based learning and set exercises, to become an exciting and rewarding learning adventure which would help internalise the principles and skills learnt and develop the behavior, attitudes and intellectual abilities appropriate for professional effectiveness in management.

Admission to a program depends upon the

eligibility criteria for that particular program as

defined from time to time.

Admission to any program is not-transferable to

any other individual.

Applications incomplete in respect of factual

information shall be rejected.

Application should be submitted in person at

Kasturi Institute of Management office within the

due date prescribed admission schedule.

Application must be submitted with required

number of sets of Xerox attested copies of

documents as specified in document check list of

this form.

Submission of application form does not mean

that admission is offered and is confirmed.

Admission is strictly done on Merit Basis and as per

rules, regulations & verification of Kasturi Institute

of Management.

Application cant be directly submitted without

prior verification by competent authority.

The Competent Authority can make change to

the schedule of admission process if required,

without assigning any reasons thereof.

Candidates on wait listing need to keep visiting

Kasturi Institute of Management notice board

as well as Kasturi Institute of Management

website for latest announcements related to

admission process and other changes in rules

and regulations and terms and conditions

of the institute. Competent Authority /

Kasturi Institute of Management shall not

be responsible for any loss on account

of same.

Admission is not right, it is an

opportunity. Candidates reporting

late after specified dates shall not

have any claim on the admission.

If offered admission, the candidate has to

personally report the competent Authority on

specified date & time with originals, 5 sets of

Xerox copies duly attested by competent officer

and 3 passport size colour photographs along

with the Tuition fees in full. In case of deficiency

application shall be rejected.

All fees to be paid by students to the institute by

the stipulated time.

The Educational loan proposals document will be

made available only those students, who have

been offered confirm admission & who have paid

the entire tuition fees in specified time.

Admission to hostel is done on first come fist served

basis. It is not right of candidates as it is a limited

facility.

Hostel Admission rules & regulations can be

referred from the Hostel prospectus available in

the office.

A full Hostel fee is required to be paid fully in

advance, if hostel facility is offered by competent

authority. The Hostel fee is subjected to change

from time to time. Once booked and allotted

space in the hostel, students will not be allowed

to vacate till the end of the course.

ID Card shall be made available to all eligible

and admitted candidates after the Cut-off- date

as specified by Kasturi Institute of Management.

In case of cancellation of admission by the

candidate, no refund will be made.

All admitted students must personally report

the Competent Authority as per the reporting

dated specified. Admission of students, reporting

after specified dates shall automatically stand

cancelled. And the candidate will not have any

claim on said admission.

Candidate has to follow attendance & term

work norms of organisation and that of university,

specified from time to time. Else, the term of the

candidate is not granted.

In case of any dispute conflict or any other

unforeseen problems related to admission of the

candidate or admission process as a whole, the

decision of Management of Kasturi Institute of

Management and Competent Authority shall be

final binding on the candidate.

The admission is subjected to approval by

Bharathiar University, Coimbatore; Kasturi Institute

of Management shall not be responsible for

disapproval of the admission on any account, by

above said competent authorities.

ADMISSION PROCEDURES

To begin the admission process, please fill up and

submit an application form to the Kasturi Institute

of Management . To avoid delays, please ensure

that all information is appropriate and complete.

Admission Office or you can download it from

here.

order to make the enrollment process quicker

and easier for our new students.

Late payment of fees would carry a fine and

could lead to cancellation of admission.

Any fee paid to the institute is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Tuition fees and University Fees, both are

subjected to change by Competent Authorities.

The candidate is required to pay the latest fees as

per latest approved fee structure.
