Permanent eKey

Period eKey

• Always valid until manually removed by Admin on the app.

• Admin does NOT have to be next to the device to revoke a permanent eKey.

• After revoking, the users phone will automatically delete the eKey.

• Valid until reached the expiry date. After expiry, the phone will automatically remove the ekey from the users mobile phone so they no longer have access.

• Start and End dates must be set upon eKey creation and can be modified at any time. For example, extend a Period eKey for 2 weeks.

• Toggle switch ON to enable and define ‘Access Restrictions’. Access Restrictions allow you to limit the users access by Hours and Days of the week.

• The issued eKey will be valid for the Days selected (in black on the app) and between the Start and End times.

• Note: the user’s mobile phone will automatically validated access against the constraints set.

• For example: provide an eKey to a user’s phone that can only be used on: MON, TUE, WED, SAT between 9:00am and 5:00pm. At all other times, the

eKey will not allow access. This is really power feature that gives KAS eKeys app the point-of-difference.
