Watercolor Fun and Free is a motivational workshop for beginning, as well as experienced painters. If you’ve taken from her before, you can be assured that the lessons vary each year to keep things fresh. Karlyn offers enthusiastic, informational demonstrations and gives individual help enriched by sharing her original finished work. She is an upbeat instructor, who helps the students cultivate a loose, free style of working. She teaches with tireless energy and her high-spirited humorous teaching style makes beginners feel comfortable and challenges the advanced student. The real emphasis is on each student’s individual expression and development of their own painting style. Karlyn’s enthusiastic, hands-on instruction will inspire you to paint with more confidence and find your own artistic vision. The week will feature a variety of themes. Everyday will begin with a demonstration, followed by individual help. Every painting will be critiqued. Karlyn brings numerous references for the students to use to facilitate the subjects covered during the week. Karlyn loves to send students home with finished paintings. Our classroom is very large and well lit, with large individual tables for each Participant. The oceanfront setting will inspire and soothe, and allow for refreshing walks on the beach. Bring snacks or lunch. Classes are from 9A-4P with a break for lunch. All students will have access to the classroom at 8AM and after hours in the evenings till 11PM if desired.

Hotel accommodations are not included. Beach Cove resort is close to restaurants, shopping, and theaters. For Beach Cove Resort reservations call 800-222-2141 press option 1 (note that you are attending the Karlyn Holman Workshop to access the discounted rates for our group) Oceanfront Executive Suite- $62 + resort fee and taxes= $82.14 per night Fees: The total Tuition fee is $550.
