The KARL MAYER Digital Factory is 100% part of

KARL MAYER but independent in its processes and

approaches. We are a SOFTWARE company

focused on the world of KARL MAYER’s customers.

The noticeable change is being introduced in all

sectors as a result of increasing digitization and

topics such as Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory. Our

goal is to support our customers to deal with this

change as professionally as possible.

To be in touch with the latest trends, we chose an

office in this technology and start-up hub in Frankfurt,

instead of locating to Obertshausen.

KARL MAYER chose KM.ON as the umbrella brand

which belongs to the KARL MAYER Digital Factory

and combines all software and digital activities of

KARL MAYER, except the system control software.

According to the self-image, KM.ON is the bold

pioneer in the textile industry and leads new ways

and opens revolutionizing new worlds in the textile

industry.

From a group perspective, KM.ON is the 4th business

unit of KARL MAYER and presented the first

solutions and the brand KM.ON at the ITMA ASIA

exhibition in Shanghai 2018.

Using k.ey, our industrial computer, on which we have

developed a special software, we enable our

customers to the digital world. In the first step the

state of the connected machines with regard to

operating speed, productivity etc. can be monitored.

As of today, up to 30 KARL MAYER warp knitting

machines using KAMCOS 1 (built from 2012) and

KAMCOS 2, can be connected to the digital world of

KM.ON.

To increase possible opportunities, we are working

hard on integrating other KARL MAYER machines

and third party machines soon.

KARL MAYER participates in ADAMOS through the

DIGITAL FACTORY.

The goal of ADAMOS is to be independent regarding

the data muddle and absolute security for the

customer’s data.

Storing data in the ADAMOS cloud is more secure

than leaving the data on the machine or backing it up

to its own servers (offline or online), because the

platform is operated and maintained by the

shareholders. No single company can achieve this

security. Even on a hard drive in the vault, the data is

not this secure.
