work.

2. There are free software packages, plus Windows 7 has the Snipping Tool. The use of Print Screen captures the ENTIRE desktop and makes large files.

3. Screen capture software allows you to drag over just the part of the screen you want to capture and then paste into Word.

Installation and SetupImproved Windows Easy Transfer and Migration Tools

In Windows Vista, you could use either the Windows Easy Transfer Wizard, or the User State Migration Tool (aka USMT – now 4.0) to move user preferences and settings from older versions of Windows into Vista.

In Windows 7, both of these tools are available and help transfer user environments from older Windows versions into Windows 7, including Vista and older Windows versions.

However, neither tool moves applications over, while some applications that require logins, such as Outlook, still require user accounts to be re-created and passwords re-assigned.
