New Central Utility Plant

• Introduce true electrical redundancy to the new terminal

• Increase resiliency of the airport and its operations through potential disruption(s)

• Power from two KCP&L substations separated by nearly 1.5 miles

• Separation of utility sources reduces the risk from a major weather event

• Sized for future growth

Continuing business terms and contract structure discussions between Edgemoor, Aviation and the airline partners

Once finalized by all sides, the business terms and structure will be incorporated into the Development Agreement

COMMUNITY BENEFITS AGREEMENT

February 28 – KCAD, Airlines and City legal team met to review and discuss CBA terms

MOU, CBA and Term Sheet were submitted to FAA for its review, comments and approval. FAA is considering the CBA.

April 19 – Conference call with FAA Regional and FAA – DC

May 24 – City submitted supplemental information for FAA’s consideration

July - FAA response letter expected back by end of the month
