DESCRIPTIONAtval’s ‘K’ and ‘KE’ series pinch valves offermaximum economy and provide unequalledperformance coupled with long-life and cost effectiveness. Like all quality products,thedesign is simple yet versatile,enabling poweredautomated and remote control actuatorsto be fitted without costly modifications.SLEEVEThe easily replaced moulded reinforcedElastomer sleeve ensures a smooth flow andoutstanding longevity - even in highly abrasivesituations.The sleeve flange is metal reinforcedto ensure a rigid and leak proof connection tothe piping flanges.The sleeves are self support-ing and are made to standard pipe line internaldiameters and are available as standard forCWP ratings of 1000,1600,2500 and 4000kPafrom our local manufacturing plant.ApplicationsPerforming with unchallenged reliability,‘K’ and‘KE’ pinch valves are used extensively for abra-sive and slurry applications in many industries,including mining, power generation, sewagetreatment,pulp and paper and chemical indus-tries.The valves can handle waste and effluent,raw sewage,sludge,slime,grease,grit,cement,asbestos fibres, mine tailings, pneumatic con-veying and many other agressive applications.Sleeve SelectionThis list is not exhaustive and the differentgrades indicated may be suitable for otherapplications.
