Results

Following projects’ implementation, at the end of the school year, an improvised conversation with the school goers who took part in them was held. It aimed to assess their attitudes toward this library form of education. 80% of them said they liked having classes in the form of debate studios and participating in projects related to the Glob@l Libraries – Bulgaria better than traditional Bulgarian language and literature classes at school. This high percentage of approval shows that school children would take deeper interest in the study material if the discussed topics were linked, in an intelligible and provocative manner, to our modern times and young people’s conception of the world.

Future ProjectsFollowing the implementation of these projects, proposals on topics of future joint initiatives were made. This is indicative of our children’s enhanced sense of initiative and gives us reasons to think that we have accomplished successfully the envisaged objectives.
