October 9, 2016 To Whom it May Concern: I am currently looking into a Business Teacher position and I feel that I am a very good candidate for this position. I have experience working in various businesses and educational institutions. I graduated in December 2010 from Nazareth College with my Master’s degree in Business Education and my initial NYS teaching certification and Extension for Coordinator of Work Based Learning. I have completed the necessary requirements and am waiting for my professional certification to be approved. I graduated December 2008 from SUNY Fredonia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Leadership Presently I am a Business Teacher at Sterling Education in Webster, New York. The school is part of a network of schools including nine other campuses that are all connected through virtual classrooms. I currently teach AS and A Level Business Studies and Middle School Business Studies, Marketing and Customer Service, and Enterprise. In previous years I taught AS and IGCSE Level Economics, Accounting 2, Introduction to Business, Marketing and Business Law. Before being a part of Sterling Education, I was a Training Specialist at Sutherland Global Services where I taught adult learners various business skills. I was also part of a team responsible for launching our new site locations in Barranquilla, Colombia and Alexandria, Louisiana teaching new managers leadership skills. I have substitute experience from numerous public high schools in the area and feel that I can apply the experiences I have gained from business and education to your school and to this position.
