Second Base

I was sliding into second base – which was the swingset. There happened to be a piece of metal sticking up.

YEOOOOUUCCHHHHH!!!!

That’s what happened. I got a really big cut on my foot. There was blood squirting left and right. It hurt a lot. AND it was too gross to even

look at. OUCH!!!

My mom took me to Urgent Care and they said I had to go to the Emergency Room. I couldn’t walk because it hurt so bad, so my mom put me in a wheelchair. That’s how I got to my hospital room.

But luckily, there was a Star Wars marathon on Spike TV. YAY! It made me not think about my foot so much, so it didn’t hurt as much.

They also put numbing medicine on it. That hurt at first.

It Took A Long Time…..

Stitches

I cut through 3 layers of skin, and had to get 11 stitches.

This is called a suture kit.

Heading Home (Finally)

It still hurt, and it was kind of hard to use crutches at first. I have to take antibiotics everyday so I don’t get an infection. It tastes pretty good.

I get my stitches out in 2 weeks. YAY!
