On April 24th, 2011, UCLACircle K held its annualEnd of the Year Banquet tocommemorate the 2010-2011term. Students, Kiwanians,and other esteemed guestscelebrated in Kerckhoff HallsGrand Salon with dinner,awards, speeches, and videos.

The night kicked off withthe presentation of theFamily of the Year award tothe Creepy Fiends and theHouse of the Year award to

the House of Sully.Afterwards, guests laughedat the general membersuperlative slideshow. DianeSantos, a dedicated andcompassionate woman, wonMember of the Year.

Capturing all the wonderfulmemories of the past term,the End of the Year Slideshowwas nostalgic for many inthe room. The graduatingseniors of Circle K were also

recognized and given leatherportfolios to thank themfor their contribution to ourorganization.

After Stephanie Wong,administrative vice president,retired the 2010-2011committee chairs, PresidentGrace Ann Cecilio presentedher farewell speech.Recognizing family, friends,and fellow Circle K-ers, Graceended her speech in applause,a standing ovation, and

recognition for a successfulyear.Afterwards, Brett Butler,

immediate past MetroDivision Lieutenant Governorand current Cal-Nev-HaDistrict Governor, retiredthe 2011-2012 executiveboard. Then, currentMetro Division LieutenantGovernor, Jonathan JonJon

Junpradub, in video format,installed the 2011-2012

executive board.Following the introduction

and installation of the 2011-2012 committee chairs, NeilYonzon, the newly-installedPresident of UCLA CircleK, provided his incomingaddress. Overall, the nightwas full of laughs, tears,celebration for the old year,and excitement for the new.

Hello! My name is Jonathan JonJon Junpradub and I am your new2011-2012 Metro Lieutenant Governor. Now, I rst off want to say howexcited I am to be working with and for UCLA. Each Bruin at UCLA hasa unique characteristic that they contribute to Metro if not the whole Cal-ifornia-Nevada- Hawaii District, and that makes me one excited CircleK District Board Member. UCLA Circle K is one of the largest, loudest,strongest and exciting organizations ever to hit C-N-H Circle K history. Iam proud not only to be a Bruin, but also a UCLA Circle K member. Thisgroup of wonderful members is something I can myself call my secondfamily away from home. With this Executive and Appointed new board

taking over where the last wonderful and hard working board membersleft off, Metro and UCLA is going to pave the way to a whole new level ofleadership, fellowship and service. If anyone were to ask me how I knewthat, I would just simply say, Because, I am simply working for the bestdivision and school CNH has to offer and I wouldnt have it any otherway. This is going to be one action packed thrill ride only UCLA couldprovide for all to experience!
