JXDH - 7003 - u/S B (M) equipment is a kind of integrated head-end digital TV platform equipmentwhich can receive multiple DVB - S/S2 / C/T modulated RF signal or TS stream in the format of ASI.Signal, demodulation, multiplexing, scrambling and insert local information,then output 8 adjacent QAMmodulation frequency RF signal

JXDH-7003U/SB (M) RF input digital TV platform is a new generation of highly integrated,high-performance RF / ASI inputs 8 routes demodulation / multiplexing / scrambling / QAM modulatormodules,RF / ASI inputs 8 routes demodulation / multiplexing / scrambling / QAM modulator modules ismodule designed ,Each demodulation / multiplexing / scrambling modules works independently,Modulesintegrates 8channel demodulator, 8channel multiplexer, an 8channel standard Scrambler, 8channel QAMmodulator.Each demodulation / multiplexing / scrambling / QAM modulator module outputs 8 adjacentfrequency signal via the RF port.There are five different adjacent frequency output mode、6/8 MHz2 kindof frequency interval choice to adapt to the network requirment.

2、5：power signal indicator light（A/B 2 groups）.The light turns green when the power supply is switched on normal,The light turns red,it indicates power failure alarm, meanwhile the buzzer give an alarm.

3、6：+24V power status indicator light（A/B 2 groups）7、8、9、10、11、12、13、14：1#channel-8# channel: input signal locked/ overflow indicator light.The green indicator light is long on that is lock out when the signal is received.The green indicator light is off that is unlocked when the signal is received；The green indicator light is twinkle that is stream signal overflow indication.15、16、17、18：4 simulcrypt CAS scramble status indicator light，indicator light on when scrambling.19：Indicator Light is for Main Board Power20：alarm indicator light，the red light is on when equipment work abnormally

Note：After the device power turned on, you need to wait the indicator of panel flicker 5 times, and thenconnect the network management to enter the parameters setting interface.

Please note that the installation of equipment: turn off the power supply of signal source equipment, andconnect the protective ground terminal of the signal source with protective GND terminal of this equipment,then connect the other signal cable. And then plug in the power socket cable after turn off the power switchof this equipment.

JXDH-7003U/S B(M)rear panel constitute by RF monitor output interfaces、RF Main port outputinterface、NMS equipment network management interface、1#-8# channels RF or ASI stream inputinterface、1 # 8 # channel LNB loop output interface、power switch, the power input interface and a groundterminal.

The power supply input interface is used for connect 100～240V AC supply input;The power supply rocker switch is used for turn on/off the power supply of JXDH-7003U/S B(M) ;Equipment network management port is a RJ45 electrical interface, it connect to the management

station via 100M or gigabit Ethernet.JXDH-7003U/S B(M)digital platform input is 1#-8# channels RF or ASI stream input interface, it shouldconnect to the former satellite, DVB-C、DVB-T and other RF signal source or TS stream receivingequipment via coaxial cable. Main output port of equipment is 1 RF interface and 1 RF monitorinterface,The RF main output port should be connected to various equipment with RF input mode,buildinga cable, wireless digital television head end.

【Note】We recommend that you use our company's equipment as input or output signal processingequipment of JXDH-7004U/S B(M). Because connection between these equipments are reliable andgot verification . Equipments from other company can also be matched with JXDH-7004U/S B (M),only if they can meet all requirements of TS signal characteristics from chapter §2.1.1 , but interfacecompatibility between them need to be tested in real working system.

It must contain PAT and PMT listswhich can fully describe its service. Maximum data throughput for each port is no less than 40Mbps. Generally, this switch canbe the one of data input or data output of JXDH-7004U/S B (M) and it must be configured before using,which will Dividing data port and management port of JXDH-7004U/S B (M) into different segment ofVLAN.The output LAN of JXDH-7004U/S B (M) cannot be connected with other host which is possible togreatly increase network traffic, such as real-time communication tools, streaming media server,workstation and server of Web server. These additional network signals possible affect digital TVstream signal in system and loss package, intensify network delay jitter and then cause mosaic whenusers watch digital TV channels.

If you are first time to use JXDH-7004U/S B (M) to build digital TV head end system, we suggestyou to operate it as following steps:

Build up your hardware environment of equipment: including rack installation, deployment of

equipment power supply, connect switch, JXDH-7003U/S B(M), headend equipment ofJXDH-7003U/S B(M) ( satellite frequency converter, receiver, encoder, etc), DVB-C terminalreceiver, TV Monitor & Management PC and CAS server ( refer to figure 3)

Plan management port, network IP address of data input and output of JXDH-7003U/S B(M) and

RF signal cable

Plan IP address of headend and end equipment of JXDH-7003U/S B(M)

Plan Port number of digital TV stream input JXDH-7003U/S B(M)

Plan Port number of digital TV stream output from JXDH-7003U/S B(M) ,

Plan transport stream quantity digital TV output stream, corresponding modulation frequency

point, SR, modulation mode for each stream

We suggest you to record all IP addresses, stream port number into files and save it for future

checking.

Start headend equipment of JXDH-7003U/S B(M) ,set its working parameters and make them

normally receive/ decode/encode and output digital TV stream ,set each parameters of the outputdigital TV streaming. should guarantee the each digital television transport stream input theJXDH-7003U/S B(M) may not appear the same PID values.Please refer the manual of thesuppliers to set working parameter of JXDH-7003U/S B(M) headend equipment (datasource) .

Place JXDH-7003U/S B(M) equipment, connect ground pole of rear panel, then connect input

signal cable and management port cable, finally connect power cable and turn power switch.

Start up JXDH-7004U/S B (M). If you already known IP address of management port for

JXDH-7004U/S B (M) which you are using , and this IP address and your managementworkstation in the same network segment, Management workstation can be directly used to set theJXDH - 7003 - U/S B (M) equipment parameters. Otherwise you need to use to restore factorySettings ， enter network management interface according to the factory IP address101.101.101.20,set new IP address of management port
