In Language Arts

· I have learned that grammar is very important when you are doing a test or a paper. You will use it a lot in a life time either if you are taking a test to grading a test. In language arts I always like no part except for the reading. It doesn't make me fell good. It only makes me fell O.K with the subject.

· I also learned about punctuation being in the right spot is very important. you will get half of the point on a normal test if you don’t use proper grammar or punctuation on the test. And if you do the wrong thing if the question is worth two points you will only get one. On every test I predict that more than one person will get marked off for that.

My Favorite Story or Novel from Language Arts

•One of my favorite stories/novel that I read this year was Tanya's reunion because it was a great book in parts and it was a O.K book in parts. It took a long time to read the book.

•Another story I enjoyed was titanic because it was a classic and it was a fun story to read also it was very realistic story even though the pictures weren't real. But it had some realistic parts in it. It also had lots of unrealistic parts.

A reading sample taken from Dogzilla by: Dav Pilkey

All at once, the volcano began to tremble. And suddenly, up from the very depths of the earth came the most terrifying creature ever known to mousekind: the dreadful Dogzilla! Immediately, soldiers were sent out to stop the mighty beast. The heroic troops were led by their brave commanding officer, the Big Cheese. “All right, you old fleabag,” squeaked the Big Cheese, “get those paws in the air --- you’re coming with us!”

Without warning, the monstrous mutt breathed her horrible breath onto the mice. “Doggy breath!” screamed the soldiers. “Run for your lives!” “Hey, come back here,” shouted the Big Cheese to his troops. “What are you, men or mice?” “We’re MICE,” they squeaked. “Hmmmm,” said the Big Cheese, “you’re right! … Wait for me!”

In Social Studies

· I learned Michigan was very famous back in the 1900s because every one wanted to buy a model T and drive it even though it would break down every 5 miles. After that they would fix it and drive it. When they got to 5 miles it would break down and they would fix it again.

• We studied Michigan in the old times (1600s-1900s) and we studied lots of Michigan History including Henry Ford and lots of other famous michigainins including Rosa parks.

• I studdied her in my michigainins project with my partner Mae!

In Science

· I learned erosion is a very big thing and that it can take down a dam and it will move sand and destroy sand and take down every thing in its way. It will disinigreat the rocks, push sand, and move things arround.

· We studied ecosystems and I learned that pollution is very powerful and it can kill hundreds of things (plants, fish, animals, and more). It can kill a whole ecosystem if enough pollotants are there.

In Mathematics

• I learned how to do long division and this is important because I will need to tell this to my kids. And for my job I might need to know it. Also I can get a very good job as something that I want to be because you need to get good grades to get a good job.

• We studied perimeter and I learned how to find perimeters and I will need to know this because I will buy things like fences and I don’t want to spend too much fence. or I don’t want to buy to much grass for my lawn.

Strengths

· One of my strengths is mathematics I am proud of this because I can do it better than other people and I usually get a 98% on every test in math! So I don’t need that much help in math but I do need some help with my hard math homework.

· Another of my strengths is Social Studies I am proud of this because I know lots of history and when I get in 6th grade I will need to know this and I can tell all my kids about history. And I can have many skills on history in my life.

· I am good at typing because I have a lot of practice and I type a lot at home for many things including writing projects when I am a adult, and if I become a writer it will be my carrer.
