My role was to ensure efficiency, safety and cost control by providing the client with a detailed analytical record of the geology, oil and gas shows, drilling and mud parameters, and related problems encountered during drilling and completion. I evaluated all data in order to identify abnormal indications of unforeseen or hazardous events, inform the relevant drilling personnel of potential dangers, and indications of drilling assembly wear/failure. Real Time Operations Center Specialist (March 2010 to August 2010) The available real-time technology enhanced data collection, communication, and collaboration between the well site and shore based support teams. As data flowed in, technology enabled me to simultaneously monitor, analyze and optimize most oilfield operations. This real-time capability served to reduce costs and improve the quality of onsite activities such as, drilling, logging, sampling, cementing, completions, interventions, fracturing, production and more. By integrating information in ways that would be difficult on site, we could work with the client to make better decisions faster in every step from spudding in to completion. MWD/LWD (April 2007 to March 2010) Analyzed real time data to provide insight to changes in well formation, and conducting required surveys for directional drilling using Positve Pulse P4M tools and EM tools. Responsible for providing quality data and solutions at the well site by taking into consideration both hands on experience and classroom based training. Operated and maintained LWD/MWD surface systems and downhole tools at rig site. Surface Data Logging Specialist / Mudlogger (June 2003 to April 2007) Analyzed real time drilling data to provide insight and/or early warnings to changes in wellbore conditions. Rig safety, geological evaluation, engineering analysis, and data management are all key elements.
