ELIGIBILITY Any person over the age of 18 who is a resident of

Adams County or an Adams County Arts Council

member. (See membership form to join. ACAC

board members are ineligible.)

FORMATS Two-Dimensional • Three-Dimensional

ENTRY DEADLINE The entry form, fee, and accompanying images

must be received or postmarked no later than Friday, August 15, 2008.

NOTIFICATION Artists whose pieces have been accepted will

be notified by mail no later than September 16,

2008.

DELIVERY

Delivery of work will be on Tuesday, September

30 from 4-7 p.m. only. No exceptions will be

made. Details for delivering your work will be

explained in the acceptance letter. Your art-

work is not considered checked into the

Art Exhibition until the control sheets have been

checked and signed by an ACAC Art Exhibition

committee member.

PICK-UP

Pick-up hours will be Sunday, November 2 from

1 pm to 3 pm only. You must plan on having

your items removed before the end of the Artist

Check-Out. We reserve the right to remove art-

work from its display space in order to expedite

the tear-down process if the artist does not

make a timely appearance.

Awards ceremony at 7 p.m.

EXHIBITION HOURS October 3-31, 2008

Gallery hours: Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Exhibition will hang until October 31.

SALES The Adams County Arts Council will not take a

commission from the sale of art. All money from sales

will go directly to the artist.

ENTRY FEE $25 per person in a non-refundable check made

payable to the Adams County Arts

Council.

All persons who wish to submit their work for

consideration by juror review must complete

and submit this entry form along with entry fee

and either photographic slides or digital (.jpg

file format only) photographs on CD of the

pieces they wish to enter. A maximum of three

(3) pieces per artist may be submitted for juror

review. Works can be no larger than 60 inches in

any direction. Please submit one slide or jpeg for

2-dimensional and two slides or jpegs for 3-

dimensional work. Slides will be returned if you

provide a SASE; CDs will not. PLEASE PRINT

Agreement: Submission of work to the exhibition will constitute

an agreement to comply with all rules, conditions and require-

ments listed on this form.

• The ACAC reserves the right to reject any work.

• All works must be free standing or ready to hang with appro-

priate wire hanging hardware. Unframed works will not be

accepted.

• Works must be labeled with title, price or NFS, and artist's

name. Please factor framing costs into the retail price.

• No prints or copies of original works will be accepted. Com-

puter prints will be considered original art only if accompa-

nied by a statement from the artist confirming same.

• All entries of original art must be the submitting artist's own

original work.

• Once an item has been entered and accepted it may not

be withdrawn or the conditions of sale changed without the

consent of the Art Exhibition Committee.

• Art sales do not include reproduction rights. The artist and

buyer must negotiate separately.

• Artwork receiving request of purchase will be sold on a "first-

come first- served" basis.

• Any artwork purchased but not collected by the buyer will be

retained by the ACAC, which will make every effort to con-tact the buyer. If we are unable to complete the sale within 3

months, the art will be returned to the artist.

• The ACAC and Schmucker Art Gallery reserve the right to

photograph work for publicity and education purposes only.

If you object to having your works used, with credit, by press reviewing the art exhibition or by the ACAC, please indicate

this in writing and attach to your entry form.
