I began drinking the water at a low alkaline level, and moved up to a pH of 9.5 to 10 over about a week’s time. I lost 10 pounds the first week I was on the water. I lost another 20 pounds over the next 5-6 weeks. This is when I was able to start exercising regularly, and the swelling and pain in my feet and ankles began to subside.

Over the next few months, I got to where I could do an hour at a good clip on the elliptical machine, and started doing light weight training, too. By the end of December, I had lost another 20 pounds, yay! So that is 50 pounds in 9 months. I could never have accomplished this without the alkaline ionized water, and I cannot recommend this enough to everyone!

She told me that the alkaline water from this ionizer would lower my blood pressure if I drank 5 cups of it daily. In those days I was taking 20mg of Vasotec a day to maintain my blood pressure at around 140/90. Vasotec was my third kind of blood pressure pill. My story started a long time ago. I am 51 years old. When I was eight years old, I accidentally ingested herbicide. Oops! I was a young farm boy and made a tragic mistake.

Six months later I had surgery for arthritis on my left knee. At nine I developed allergies, and at ten, I was diagnosed with asthma. These problems have followed me through my adult life.

On he call, I mentioned to Dr. Hopkins that I had Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Dr. Hopkins hen stated that in his clinic, he has been treating patients with IBS and, without exception, all of his patients have recovered within 6 to 8 weeks.

After Kaiser Hospital, where I am a member, informed me that treating someone with IBS could be a lifetime process, I figured that at least 6 to 8 weeks was better than a lifetime. See how sharp I am? I now had a goal! Within 3 days of drinking the water, I recovered. I have had no more symptoms. My stomach feels great. I can now go for long walks with my dog. How ‘bout that?

It was then that I really decided to test the water. I’m a diabetic and was going to go off my diet and have carbs, desserts and whatever else that would raise my blood sugar and cholesterol. I like living on the edge. Can you tell? I had pasta for lunch, mini carrot cakes, hot dogs, hamburgers, bread pudding, you name it. I did this for 30 days. With as much of the pasta and desserts that I had, my blood test should have shown an increase in my A1C test, an indicator of how much the Diabetes is under control. You would think the LDL, or bad cholesterol, would go up. ALL OF THE NUMBERS CAME DOWN. It was the best blood test I have had in my 12 years at Kaiser. My cholesterol dropped from 134 to 119. This shows that I paid attention to my diet before the water.

My blood pressure went from 173 to 123. My LDL went from 84 to 73. My A1C stayed at 6.9, and my doctor has informed me that my Diabetes is under control.

That’s not all. I have been a smoker for 55 years. I’m not really proud of it; it’s a “generation” thing. After all, John Wayne smoked!! My breathing was starting to bother me. I was out of breath sometimes, and I coughed just about every morning. Sometimes I would wake up during the night with a coughing spell and get out of bed so that I wouldn’t worry my wife. After about two weeks of drinking the water, I noticed that I wasn’t coughing anymore. I could breathe better, and I’m feeling much better now after 5 weeks. I still smoke, though. I wasn’t expecting this to happen, but Thank God it has happened!!

That’s not all! I have not been able to drive my car more than a couple of miles without my legs cutting off my circulation in my feet, so my wife drives me everywhere. I can’t feel my feet; no circulation and no feeling. I almost drove us through the garage once. Last week I drove my wife and friend across town for the first time in maybe 10 years. Our two year old grandson doesn’t usually like to drink water. When I gave him the micro water he guzzled it all down and even started going into the kitchen asking for ‘water’. hyper-acidityAbout 1 year ago, I went to see a gastric specialist. For a long time I had gastric disorder. I took a lot of antacid and charcoal pills. They did an endoscopy and they told me it was hyperacidity and some inflammation of the duodenum. My doctor put me on medication. The condition cleared for about 3 months and then the discomfort returned. Somehow, subsequent medications did not work as well as before.

Sometime around Sept/Oct 2001, my sister-in-law bought a Jupiter antioxidant water ionizer. She told me about some of its qualities being antioxidant and alkaline in nature. The doctor decided that if it were removed he could stitch up the area in order for it to heal itself. A while later a visiting nurse recommended a wound vacuum to be placed on the ulcer in an attempt to keep the area dry. This procedure went on for 2 1/2 months with no change at all. My surgeon abandoned the vacuum treatment and then wanted to stitch up the bottom of my foot again. I didn’t want to go through with this process again. This is because it hadn’t worked before and I had great doubts as to whether it would work this time as well.

I began to talk to a Doctor in Springfield who had high hopes for me. From his conversation and the tests he would perform he thought I might get some much-needed relief from having to bandage this wound everyday. I was very disappointed to find out he was going down the same path as my previous surgeon not to mention I wasn’t getting any results from the tests he had ordered either.

My wife and I left Springfield and never looked back. I told my wife I was going home and soak my feet in this pH water [acid] that my brother Jerry had gotten from you. I hoped this was going to work like he had heard it would from others. To be honest with you, I had my doubts but decided to give the water a try anyway.

I warmed the water up and soaked my left foot in it for about 45-60 minutes. I then allowed my foot to air dry and bandaged it. After doing this procedure for 3 days (December 21-24) on Christmas Eve I changed the bandage. To my surprise I noticed that the wound was healed over and the area was firm to the touch. I couldn’t believe it at first and called to my wife to come have a look to confirm what I was seeing. My wife had the same reaction that I had; she couldn’t believe it was finally healed!

anti-mold, tasteMy name is Nirjan, and I grow wheatgrass commercially in a controlled environment and I was introduced to the ionizer, and one of the points that was emphasized was the use of the waste water: that it was acidic and that it suppresses the growth of molds. And I was having quite a problem with molds in the early days. So I would spray the waste water -- the acidic water -- on the young plants, and I would do that several times a day. It kept the plants healthy during their growth period. It was a very good corrective measure for that.

But what I would enjoy more than anything was the ionization factor, making the water more easily absorbable. My first experience in drinking it was just awesome. I think had a couple of mouthfuls. You know when you drink water you get that kind of bloated feeling, that full feeling in the stomach? It wasn’t like that at all! I drank it and I could feel it disappear into my body.
