Purple: Curriculum Activities These structured learning activities are part of the Kids R Kids Summer Camp Curric-ulum Green: Special Guests visiting center There will be several outside fun vendor activities coming to Kids R Kids to enter-tain the kids during Summer Camp Lite Blue :Nature Clubs Clubs are an integral part of our Summer Camp activities as they build team cohe-sive and mutual respect. AGE GROUPS FOR CAMP Junior Camp - Age 5-7 Senior Camp - Age 8-12

We will be partnering with a sister Kids R Kids to share in this event. This is a Field Trip. (10:00 - 1:00) June 13: Donuts with Dad Fathers Day incentive to spend quality time with Dads at breakfast. June 9, 16, 23, 30: Gym Station (2:00—3:30 PM) Campers will participate in fun, organized sporting activities and games with Gym Station coaches Activities: Made in the Shade, You Can Do It, No “I” in Team June 16: Sensory Stars Our educational themed classes stimulate creativity, imagination, and pretend play. June 20: Northshore Park Campers will unwind with a nice picnic by the lake and enjoy a few games and activities while at the park. June 24: Miller Outdoor Theater (11:00-2:00) The Sounds Like Fun! series returns to Miller with a relaxed and dynamic music experience designed for the whole family. June 26: It’s Movie Day at Kids R Kids. Popcorn, refreshments, and fun are the order of the day. June 27: Kemah Boardwalk Campers will explore the famous Kemah Boardwalk, take in the sights, see the stingrays and have lunch by the sea.

Camp Weeks 1 & 2: Theme “Nature Rocks” Campers will explore nature and conduct learning activi-ties that involve plants, animals, land and water while learning respect for nature. Daily Activities include: Week 1: Scavenger Hunt, My Story Stones, Exploring Natural Hab-itats, Colorful Vines, Creative Art using Leaf prints Week 2: Nature in the City?, Wild Scents, Wild Sounds, The Wild Bunch Hunt, Wild Tastes Camp Week 3 & 4: Theme “Digging in the Dirt” Campers will explore nature and conduct learning activi-ties that involve plants, animals, land and water while learning respect for nature. Campers will get their hands dirty during exploration and learning activities. Daily Ac-tivities include: Week 3: Mud Ball, Rock My World, Worm Farm, Slip Sliding Away, Composting Week 4: Four-leaf Clovers, The Great Leaf Swirl, Wild Flower Prints, Fruit and Veggie Prints

July 22: Houston Zoo Campers will travel to the Houston Zoo to explore the many animals and learn the importance of human-animal co-habitation. July 26: Zumba Class Campers will have fun and get fit at an exciting Zumba Class (Travel to our sister Kids R Kids) July 30: Nickelodeon Show Campers will travel to our sister Kids R Kids and take part in a combined Nick Program.

Camp Week 4 : Theme “Digging in the Dirt” It’s all about playing in the dirt! Campers squish and squelch in the mud, investigating not only what is in dirt, but who as well! Wallowing pigs and wiggly worms are just the beginning of what campers find while digging in the dirt! Week 4: Four-Leaf Clovers, The Great Leaf Swirl, Wild Flower Prints, Fruit & Veggie Cinquiain, Fun with Fungi Camp Week 5 & 6: Theme “Bugs & Slugs” Chirp like a cricket? Hop like a grasshopper? Flitter and flutter like butterflies? There are so many interesting in-sects for campers to investigate. Aug 4, 18: Kona Ice Refreshing Fruit Flavored Ice Cones for all after a long day of nature adventure and play Aug 4: Sensory Stars Our educational themed classes stimulate creativity, imagination, and pretend play. Aug 6: Pool Day at Cranebrook Park (11:30-1:30) Aug 11: Gym Station Olympic Event (8:30 - 1:30 PM) Campers will participate in Kids R Kids Olympic Competition at Sugarland Skeeters Field!! Come out to Support KRK#7 Aug 15: Northshore Park Campers will unwind with a nice picnic by the lake and enjoy a few games and activities while at the park. Aug 19: Kids R Kids Splash Pad Campers will cool off on the KRK Splash pad for wet and wild fun. Aug 21: HEB Healthy Buddy Be A Healthy Buddy! HEB opens the doors to your neighborhood H-E-B store to teach valuable lessons on healthy eating . (The event is subject to availabil-ity) Aug 22: End of Summer Bash!! Campers will cap off the summer with a day of fun, music, games, and parties.

Camp Week 9 & 10: Theme “Off the Beaten Path” Camping and hiking are adventures full of fun and exciting activities- pitching a tent and sleeping under the stars, us-ing a compass, and cooking over a campfire. As campers travel, other amazing habitats are explored . Week 9: Nature Vests, Jr. Forest Rangers, Trash Troubles, Track-ing Critters, Water Bowling Week 10: Knotted Camp, A Rainy Day in Camp, Trail Blazing, Pan-ning for Gold, Setting up Camp
